Zdx

It looks like they were trying too hard to get this car to look like it could be in the next "Cars" movie. I've seen other cars beside this zdx trying to make their vehicles more "smile friendly" kinda like front of the 2010 mazda 3.

I'll have to find the link somewhere, but there was a survey that showed one of the main reasons why people have been avoiding Acuras because of that stupid trademark "beak" -grill design in their entire lineup

It also makes for a good bottle opener :tonguey:

So I actually saw one in person today at a stoplight. It was clean, silver and it looked like it had 20" chrome multi-split spoke wheels. That setup actually looked pretty decent.

It's just plain odd though. Some angles were killing me. All fine though when you're in the cozy cabin.
It is wearing 19 stockrs w/ Mich. latitudes

I've seen one or two on the road, was impressed with the way it looked from the rear. I just don't care for the front.

I've sat in one at the auto show, and liked how it felt in the drivers seat, but have never driven one. I value the opinions of the members on this board since we all share the same passion for cars, so I am disappointed that it doesn't drive as well as Acura intended it to (or as well as the FX).

If the ZDX makes it to live another cycle, I hope they address the points where they missed the first time.

It actually drives pretty well. If I lived in a place where there was weather, I wouldnt mind driving it the snow.
Dunno if this video is just for advrtsing, but the awd I can confirm is very capable.

If you can handle the music :nerd (2):
Pretty cool on that grade test. The system sends all the torque to the side where there's grip. It has a display option inside that will show you how much power each corner is getting

The new MDX has that as well. I was cruising it around the other day and found myself consumed with seeing how far I could get the bars to go to one side. Turns out "not very much" during normal city driving. At least not during the break in period...

was hellu fun yesterday. I had the display clearly banked to the sides. You shoulda seen this beast when I returned it today. It clearly looked like I had some fun. I did clean up the dog's vomit in the back before I handed it over. That would have been just too rude to leave it.
MDX is the same mechanicals, so you have to push her after the break-in.

Looks like your beagle would rather walk home than get back in that car.

lol, I didnt even notice his look.
He was sooo tired after the snow hopping. Didnt care. Crashed hard on the ride back

Its like they tried too hard. They got knocked for being too conservative and this is what they came up with. Really didn't work out too well for them, but maybe they are getting their act together... The latest TSX and TL refresh look pretty good to me, as well as the MDX.

This back in the coral tonight. New tranny & mounts. Still drives great.
Getting a timing/water pump job later this week. Wondering what loaner I'll get next from them.

lol, just found this pic again. Be fun to still have it. I gave it away to my Barrista at Starbucks. He used to quad shot me everyday for free for a couple years. Wonder if it's still running. Was in storage for years & figured it could still be of use. Had 172K on it when it went. It's 1.6 was incredible smooth it's entire life with me

dropped off my brother's TL today, and got one of these as a loaner. It's not bad. don't love it but don't hate it either. I do think it looks better with the running boards though
