Wheels I'm considering (Photoshop)

I don't know how to post pic. lol

By the way, ask him to include the lug nuts. He said they come with the wheels, but somehow they weren't there. I had to pay extra $70 at the dealer for those things.

Still have not received mine, 9 weeks now; shipping, but I'll believe it when I see them. Charles is fine, but the communication between he and Forgestar leaves a lot to be desired. It's like the left hand not knowing what the right is doing. Forgestar/Iforged might be a large player in the industry, but with their customer service it will not enjoy that status for many years.

You should start a thread and post up some pics of your wheels.

That really sucks, I'm sorry you still haven't received your wheels yet. Hopefully you get them soon!

I ordered my Lexani's about 4 weeks ago and the wheels just arrived at Inland Wheel, Lexani was drilling them to the specs I ordered. Now the tires need to be mounted and balanced, and I'm expecting shipping is another week or so. So best case scenario I'm hoping to get them by end of next week, making a total of about 5 weeks. It definitely sucks waiting!!

Well, either you heard wrong or he lied to you. Hub rings come with it, but you're on your own for lugs. It came with the rings i hope?

Post pics by uploading to photobucket and copy/paste the img link on here.

They were written in my email. He offered to send me the lugs again, but I already got them installed so i didn't bother. Yeah, the rings were there.

I remember you now, your the guy on the org that posted about offsets. I got into it with one of their mods about it, glad it came out right for you. And I was correct lol.

lol. yeah. I didn't understand the offset. I was also not sure about what kind of silver it is. But everything turned out great! The silver is very close to OEM 18" wheels, which is what i like.

What happened Ian, did you get your wheels???????

Recap:

week1: order placed.
week 2: wheels are in the process and pc in a few days.
weeks 3-6: whole lot of nothing.
week 7: wheels are done and will ship tomorrow.
week7.5: after repeated pm's and calls from me.. " ummm, actually wheels not done and not shipping b/c they just went to powder coat.." sorry, Forgestar's bad.
week 8.5: wheels done, shipping today.. 2 days later finally ships..
week 9.5: wheels arrive, finally happy.. hoping no scratches, cracks and problems..
install: damn wheels have such small diam sockets for lugs.. turns out it needs spline drive tuner lugs.. wasn't made aware of this by Forgestar or B2Auto ahead of time so I find myself eating the cost of a set of lugs and keys.. Eventually found a tuner shop that sold spline lugs, at a ridiculous mark up no less, and finally get them installed.. Lost 3 hours of my life in the morning, late to work and had 13 pissed off patients waiting for me..Looked at the wheels on the car at the end of the day and thought about lighting it on fire. :err:

that should sum it up for ya wayne. happy with the wheels, but miscommunication all the way.

Yikes -- I was wondering if you were texting me from work or if you were really still at the shop:eek.:

Where are the pics! Even if it's a bonfire...

Hi guys i was thinking to change my rims to 20" but they said it will be tuff ride because its sporty suspensions. What u guys think?

Just to put this all in one post:

Forgestar F14 Silver Finish 22" x 9" et 30mm offset with 265/40/22 tires.
Very, very slight tuck. It is close to flush with fender with a hair in (second generation).

Ouch, sorry to hear it's been such an ordeal. That definitely would have me pretty pissed off too, after spending the money for the wheels and going through all that, if they arrived and didn't have the right lugs/locks, and I had to spend hours searching around for the right ones only to have to pay a grossly marked up price, I wouldn't be a happy camper.

My wheels are in route and should be here in the next couple days. I'll post back on my experiences with the company I bought my wheels from after I get them installed, and will report if there were any problems. So far so good however, they even are sending me 2 colors of lugs/locks with my rims at no extra cost so I can decide which would look better: black or chrome.

Front sits perfectly with these specs... If you wanted to be completely flush in the back I would go with et 22-25. If you will drop the car in the future, you will need to trim the underside of the fender if you go with the lower et.

Car needs to be dropped to complete the look and compliment the new wheels. I do hope the rear camber/toe issues get resolved soon.

I'll get some up in a few days...It'll be Seattle here this week.

Some shots.. Yes, needs a drop and is dirty, but I need to get Ed off my back about these pics ... shot with Playbook tablet.

22x9 et +30 with 265/40/22 Proxes ST II
Very happy with this set up as far as flushness and drivability.. Not too wide that it follows rutts on the road and minimal loss in comfort...
