Wheels I'm considering (Photoshop)

Since spring is around the corner, I need to decide pretty soon... Here are two more to add to the list of wheels. Opinions?

I like CVX too. You better order tires soon too. Depending on size they are hard to find. I had trouble finding 285/35/22s. But I got lucky and got the remaining Nittos from Discount Tire Direct. I'm about two weeks away from my new setup, so you should come check mine out soon too. :wink (2):

Isnt that a common size? unless . . since they're made of oil :ninja:
Why cant we just hit up our neighbors in Canada for more??

Well they are a "common" size, but hard to find stockwise. When I went to Discount Tire and checked Tire Rack, I was going to go with Pirelli 305/35s, but those are on backorder, with no ETA. Then I had to settle for 285/35. Pirelli, Nitto, Hankook, Falken were all on backorder according to them. They only have Yokos available. I'm passing on Yokos because I have them on my 20s. Great tire, but want to try a new brand for my 22s. According to Discount Tire, I got the last two Nittos in stock and the remaining two on order.

I was going to go with 265/40/22 tires.. Don't want it too thin and not too much of a bulge.

So out of all the wheels I have on this thread, I think I do like the CVX more... everyone in agreement?

Update: back-ordered indefinitely; summer will be over by the time these come in. Bummer

Thanks, but 24's in downtown Chicago is a very expensive option.. Too many potholes that can eat up small cars.

Might be a good idea to try to get something going in a few months when the weather is nicer and most will have their wheels/mods done..

Yeah 2K is a bit pricey, but I can get them for 1800 + 800 proxes 2 total. Not sure if that's an ok deal or not. That is if I can wait until they come in.. Supposedly a new model for 2011; likely the cause for the price..

^^ considered it and actually chopped it on the car.. but I found that I don't like a completely black wheel, I need some chrome to break up up the black wheel and black tire.. All black definitely looks aggressive and mean, but I prefer a cleaner look.

^^ +1. Ya, brushed aluminum or silver wheels especially on your color and even mine. I'm all about keeping it classic n' clean. :balanced:
