unfortunally while being at the mall in tyson corner VA. driver side door got a dent, its one of those things that you look at and hope that if you close your eyes and open them again it wont be there.. but there it is.. i seriously stood up there for 15 minutes just looking at it.. it was a horrible day. plus everytime i see it it doesnt get any better. the other one was while parking at the movie theater. my girl opened the door without paying attention and it slammed into one of those yellow poles that they put on the side of fire hydrants in some places.. when it happened she opened her eye wide open and looked at me.. i looked at her took a deep breather and lay my head on the steering wheel... the only good thing about that is that she felt so guilty she will get me a set of 22"s...yeeaaaah, hopefully soon.. lol. and thats my lil story about my parkings experience.. so now i park af far away as i can from other cars.. specially old cars. even thos its not the best mod you can get for the fx.. i think i might go with the side molding..:.smile:

Luckily i havent had any issues lately with other ppl parking like asses. I would NEVER take my FX into valet parking unless i really had to. Otherwise i'm in for an argument. Some ppl just park and don't even care like this person that parked in front of me and leaned their bumper on mine when i took my parent's car (didn't have my FX yet). I purposely parked far then this ass just came along not caring. I ended up keying his car of anger as the guy collecting carts watched me with amazement. So what about your stories ppl?
Thanks for the welcome!!!!! As like you I parked far away begging that nothing would happen!!! Guess not!! :frown: To answer your question I got it for $26,500
so I had to grab it!!!! No NAV disc though :tears:..... But I downloaded a copy already!!! I searched around and most here in Houston are between $28K - $32K with between 26k miles - 32k miles. MAJOR WIN!!! I will post a pic this week!!CapeCod Mall, last year, I park in farthest possible spot and there's so cars around me in the 200 yards radius. We leave the mall two hours later and some a-hole in a Land Rover Sport parks his 'coffin' so close to my driver's door, I had to get in from a passenger side
yeah i go there some times.. its a nice mall, you can find whatever you are looking for.. and if you dont there is Tyson corner II not far away..
i being thinking about that.. my profile said i'm from NYC but i'm currently stationed in MD.. i was thinking that us guys from the east coast should make an effor and lets try to arrange a meeting.. its hanging in the air right now.. but it could be possible..

quite an interesting story.. i just have a question.. Did you father knew for sure that was the vehicle that hit his door? if it was great!,, but what if it wasnt? now another owner have to buy a window for his/her car.. and that same person would say what idiot would brake my window for no reason.. but thats just me.. people park and go faster than other... maybe someone else parked there first did it and left,, someone else came parked there and paid for someone's else stupidity... my point is we love our vehicles but we should think before doing things like that.
oh i forgot to mention that you could clearly see where the two cars traded paint. red on the white door edge, and white paint still on the red truck
