What's your worst experience with other ppl parking around your FX?

Luckily i havent had any issues lately with other ppl parking like asses. I would NEVER take my FX into valet parking unless i really had to. Otherwise i'm in for an argument. Some ppl just park and don't even care like this person that parked in front of me and leaned their bumper on mine when i took my parent's car (didn't have my FX yet). I purposely parked far then this ass just came along not caring. I ended up keying his car of anger as the guy collecting carts watched me with amazement. So what about your stories ppl?:cool:
 
unfortunally while being at the mall in tyson corner VA. driver side door got a dent, its one of those things that you look at and hope that if you close your eyes and open them again it wont be there.. but there it is.. i seriously stood up there for 15 minutes just looking at it.. it was a horrible day. plus everytime i see it it doesnt get any better. the other one was while parking at the movie theater. my girl opened the door without paying attention and it slammed into one of those yellow poles that they put on the side of fire hydrants in some places.. when it happened she opened her eye wide open and looked at me.. i looked at her took a deep breather and lay my head on the steering wheel... the only good thing about that is that she felt so guilty she will get me a set of 22"s...yeeaaaah, hopefully soon.. lol. and thats my lil story about my parkings experience.. so now i park af far away as i can from other cars.. specially old cars. even thos its not the best mod you can get for the fx.. i think i might go with the side molding..:.smile:

I went to the DMV to pick up my new personlized plates(MTN FX) and as I was standing in line to get into the DMV I watched this junker ford van pull in next to the FX and on the oppisite side of me the passenger of the van got out and pulled a wheelchair out of the van and then the mom a 300 pounder got out of the van and rolled out of her seat and hit one of the newly painted doors with her door.I was at the front of the line to get into the DMV so I did not approach them yet.I went into the DMV to get my wait # and they sent me out to pull my old plates off.When I got out to car I could see the new scratch so when I went back into the DMV office I approached the perpatrators.They tried to deny it at first.So here I was getting pissed off in the DMV and everyone was looking at me like I was scrooge yelling at the poor lady in the wheelchair :mad:NICE.They finally copped to it and we exchanged insurance info.
 
only bad story I got with the fx wasn't even a parking lot, I was parked on the street & when I returned the left rear bumper was scuffed. the car behind me didn't move though( I watch for this & pay attention & knew the car behind me from the niegborhood) & in looking further it was pretty obvious that it had to have happened from a car backing out of the driveway across the street, but, without seeing anything can't do anything much really.. I hate that...


parking lots I'm very nuts about where I park, my wife hates me cause I'm always parking a mile away, now I just drop her off at the door & then park, when done I'll run out to the car & then pick her up at the door if weathers bad or there are many packages or she'll walk with me & roll her eyes at the mile walk :cool:... if the lot sucks I just won't park period... I look at all the customers I have who are jerks with a million dings on there cars saying oh, can't help it.. yeah, you could, if you gave a shit & weren't so friggin lazy :tongue:
 
I took my dog to the dog park on the weekend and this goof in a jeep with the snorkel and the whole nine yards parked so close to my driver's door I could'nt open it more than 1' open. I had to crawl in through the passenger to get it out while my wife made sure I didn't rub against his crapy ride. Surprisingly, and almost impossibley since i dont know how he got out, there was no door dings or anything.
 
I wanted to say hello considering this is my first post and I am a NEWB to the site and a new owner of an 05' FX35 (Fully loaded, NAV, 20in chrome stock, 22k miles) got it for a great deal!!!!! I have always wanted one because it's just a sexy vehicle!

This just happened yesterday at the grocery store..... I have had my FX for a month now and I wash it religously every Monday and Thursday (I am anal about keeping it clean). This jerk in a Z71 with lift covered in mud parked horizontally with his tailgate facing my passnger side. Halfway walking through the lot (where I was parked far in the back) I see this guy peel off to catch another jacked up jerk SPRAYING HALF OF MY FX WITH MUD!!!!!!! I jumped in and caught him where I demanded he pay me $34 I just spent on the wash!!!! He said he didn't have any cash so the idiot offered me a $25 gift card to best buy!!!!!! Holy @$$%^%!!!! After checking for damages (thank god there wasn't any) his buddy coughed up the cash for him!!! I wanted to beat him with the chrome testicles hanging from his hitch!!!!!!!
 
The worst? A big door ding on the passenger door. No idea where or when it happened but the prick that did it was kind enough to bounce their car up and down, leading to vertical scratches and my belief that they are in desperate need of liposuction and starvation.

Don't do that if you ever visit Chicago. People who take up 2 spaces here get their tires slashed and a good keying usually.

I hate it when you are in the city though and people purposely nudge your bumper to force their way in between your car and another. That is just so f-ing obnoxious bumping somebody else's car just to force your way into a space that you shouldn't really fit in. I hate the f-ing city at times. :mad:
 
i am super anal about parking ANYWHERE. going out for dinner in town usually means worrying about whats happening to my car the entire time lol. parking in lots i usually look for end spots away from everyone, 2 miles away. it seems that people gravitate toward your car when your parked far away, so parking in the end spot means only one car. and i'll put it on the side that would face passengers side of the car next to me, hoping maybe its just a drive with no passengers and there wont be doors opening on that side at all.

funny story though when i was a kid my dad had just picked up his new 97 F150, cherry red with diamond plate and chrome everywhere, it was gorgeous. we park at the very end of the lot at home depot, and when we get out sure enough there is a car parked next to us. being the car nut that he is goes to inspect to see if there is any damage. sure enough there is a big crease in his brand new door. "get in the car" he says. while he's unlocking the toolbox. i hope in and watch through the window as he casually walks over with the tire iron and smashes the guys driver's side window out, it was priceless. especially with it being winter and all, must have made for a long ride home.

quite an interesting story.. i just have a question.. Did you father knew for sure that was the vehicle that hit his door? if it was great!,, but what if it wasnt? now another owner have to buy a window for his/her car.. and that same person would say what idiot would brake my window for no reason.. but thats just me.. people park and go faster than other... maybe someone else parked there first did it and left,, someone else came parked there and paid for someone's else stupidity... my point is we love our vehicles but we should think before doing things like that.

wow that sucks man, i wouldnt really know what to do cuz i would look bad in front of ppl at the same time but also very pissed

wow valet parking? i would end up in a huge argument or possibly a fist fight or throw something at them SHIT THAT ANNOYS ME JUST THINKING ABOUT IT.
