Whats your Gas consumption like?

I've been averring 17 mpg since I bought the car and I drive aggressive as hell. makes me wonder if the mpg is not working right.

Jonas, are you saying with your driving style "aggressive as hell" :smile (2):, you're surprise you still get 17 mpg?

My conservative mode (highway average 65 mph):
FX45: Highway is around 22 mpg. Local is about 16 mpg.
FX35: Highway is around 24 mpg. Local is about 17.8 mpg.

My Normal Mode (highway average 85 mph):
FX45: Highway is around 16 mpg. Local is about 16 mpg.
FX35: Highway is around 19 mpg. Local is about 17.8 mpg.

My mpg has been going down lately. I normally average about 14 local and highway aggressive driving lol but lately its been slumping down to like 11.8? Anybody know why?
 
Andy, how do you know how you average on highway and local separately so accurately?

I'm just surprised my mpg is NOT lower considering some have mentioned even below 15mpg and I drive pretty aggressive and have a FX50. Also in DS mode sometimes. And it always seems to be right around 17mpg according to the computer. It doesn't say exact average mpg on the nav lcd, but it looks always between 15 and 20.

I hit the reset button when I get on the highway, keep a log for a week at the least. I hit the reset button when I get off the highway to get local readings for a week.
 
i get 12 if im lucky, i hardly drive on the highway so most times it says its averaging 10 which is crazy to me actually lol, my 08 escalade did better than that but i think i didnt drive that as hard lol

was getting 16.2.

Changed Air Filter, PCV, Oil to Synthetic Blend, changed Differential Fluid, right front wheel bearings, and now averaging 20.3 miles......no kidding!
