Whats your Gas consumption like?

Excellent ^^^, but it's sooo hard to maintain that speed.

was getting 11mpg city with ome filter ,changed to k&n and started getting 13-16 depending on my driving ....after having k&n for a almost 2 years mpg went down back to 10-11 just put in new k&n's and it went back up to 14-15 so far. dont drive on the highway.

Summer is rough because I like to have the windows down and hear the exhaust, which makes for a lot harder accelerating because i love the sound. But winter makes it sound even louder! so naturally its no better! I average around 20-21 on hwy and like 12-13 around my house (25 mph limits like everywhere and a lot of stop signs and stop and go traffic)

I get 14.4-15.5 L per 100 Km`s. Its a bit worse with cold weather it seems.
K&N made no difference for me.

Currently at $110 fill ups..

I don't have the spread from city to highway many of you do. I think it's because I baby it around town and I'm almost always 80-85mph on the highway. I've seen 17-18mpg around the suburbs and 19-20 on the highway. I'm sure if I set the cruise at 70mph, I'd see a marked improvement.

I've only got 3000 miles on the odo. Did most people see an increase after it's fully broken in?

Man...I would kill for 15 city. =( I've got a heavy foot and the remote start has been killing me this winter.

The highest I've ever gotten was 23 hwy driving 100 miles. Today I got a whopping 19mpg driving 50 miles mixed, mostly highway. The gas mileage is a killer for me.

I just drove from Fort Myers, FL to Lexington, Ky and according to the computer I averaged 18.5 mpg running 75-90 mph. I have been thinking about installing a CAI but have not seen any post saying that it has improved gas milage. I know on my Toyota Tundra I installed a Brute Force CAI and didn't see any difference until I added a throttle body spacer which gave me 1 1/2 more mpg. Have any of you ever used one on the FX? If so, have you experienced anymore MPG? If you think about what they do it makes total since, it creates a vortex and allows the fuel to enter the motor cooler and more efficiently. Which creates better throttle response and better fuel economy. I don't know, what do you guys think?

Unichip 93 octane aggressive map vs same map except +2 ignition timing = .5 mpg better!

Averaging 16 mpg city only with this. Should be even better with highway driving.

Work is 80 miles away. I'm averaging 24mpg on the way to work a lot of downhill. I can actually can see 28mpg for 30 miles going to work, until it gets flat. I average 17mpg on the way home going uphill. My overall is always pegged at 20.2.

19-20mpg, mostly highway driving. Not too shabby. But the $80 premium fill-ups here in PA are killing me. :shot:
