What went wrong with your FX today?

:umbrella:Sprinklers every car's enemy!! One of the two most annoying things, First would be bird poop!
Guess it's time for you to practice the KarateKid moves, wax on, wax off ... :sweat:
 
I went to get gas today (low fuel warning was on) and I couldn't get the fuel door open. I drove straight to the dealer and it turns out the fuel door lock actuator had failed. Fortunately they had one in stock; took about an hour for them to replace and I was on my way. I'm surprised this happened with such a new car, but all's well that ends well.
 
On the first gen there is a removable panel in the cargo area directly opposite the fuel door. Behind it is a wire you can pull to manually open the fuel door. I assume the second gen has the same.

Really ??????? Where is that? I don't see it :/



By the way my fuel door actuator had a problem too before. When I lock the car the fuel door wouldn't lock. Turns out it was disabled from the factory and the dealer activated it with their Consult III computer.

it happened in a mall parking lot not even on the street
a godddamn big ass shopping mall..... damn i guess i am really unlucky with
cars and hit n runs
 
ok so i'm posting here because something dreadful happen to the fx while we (my girlfriend and I) were on the way to the cabin on friday .....................















It fell in a ditch .......


in the mountain .....during friday's storm :at-wits-end:... As we were on the way it started to get real dark. Then wind picked up like crazy and next thing you kno it started lighting like crazy and i swear i saw colorful lighting and then hailing. It was bad that to a point i felt like i was in the movie twister :bulgy-eyes: saw the lighting hit a utility pole and few trees. as we got close to the cabin there was a utility pole snapped in 2 blockin the only way to the cabin.. So i was like great guess we gotta find another way or something. So backing up and next thing you know the fx went thump in the rear and then the front so the passenger side of the fx was in the ditch and the driver side was out. So im like great thinking it wasnt a deep one. So tried a couple of times to manuver out and failed. So long story short called AAA for a flatbed to help tow it out and the end result the wheel well cover came out along with the trim above the wheel was able to put the cover back on but now i need a new trim :at-wits-end: which is 82 and some change.....after all this the cabin had no power andit was HOT!!!!!:pissed-off: but in the mist of all this i kept my cool and got a hotel and goin to buy the trim
