what psi are you guys runnin'?

I dont know if it is too much but at some point your going to get uneven wearing of your tread. the middle of your tires will wear first.

265/50/20 34psi

tire size 255/30/24 pressure 43 PSI. Is this too much? Max pressure level on tire says 49 PSI!

On 24's you want to run higher pressure. This is to avoid wheel damage from pot holes, but at the trade off of putting more strain on your suspension.

Run 38 PSI cold, which will get you around 40 PSI warm/hot.

Be sure to rotate your tires/wheels every 5,000 miles.

265/50/20 stockers
34-38 psi cold depending on season, road condition, and tire condition.
For you international guys on the metric system: do you always go by psi? Does it seem weird (inches)?

In my country we use atmospheres to measure the pressure in our tires. Really don't know in other parts of Europe like France, Germany, Spain and many others. And no, it's not weird because there are online converters.:tongue (2):

So, would you say you run 1.15 ATM or something like that?

just drove off the tire shop where i got 4 new tires 265/40/22 and the PSI they did is 40.. getting a steering wheel vibration at higher than 60.. and hoping its only because of the PSI and I dont need balancing ( they were supposed to do it )

From memory, One Atmosphere is approximately 1 BAR (Metric ) which is 14.5 PSIG.
I run stock 18" at 33/34 PSIG cold. For those of you who dont know what the "G" means ("gage") as we always have approximately 1 Atmosphere pressure at sea level even though the gage reads "0".

40psi on 265/40R22 I like a smoother ride feel not mushy. Your also looking for bent rims running lower psi if you hit a pothole hard enough and your gas mileage might not be as good. Just my opinion.
