What other cars did you consider buying before the FX?

I have now narrowed my choices down to FX50S and C63AMG estate, will be test driving the FX later this week, I am more incline towards the FX at the moment, due to overall practicality and cheaper running cost.
Not to mention its as rare as hen's teeth in the UK, and I love the styling.

I considered the 2012 Range Rover Sport and the 2012 Porsche Cayenne.
Both of them in my Country (Italy) are too common so I decided for the FX.
Here in Italy my FX looked like an alien! :smile (2):

Why did u get a 2011 FX if you were looking at other 2012s?

2009 FX50 was the only other thing I looked at. Too many clicks on it for what they wanted for it.

I had considered a few other mid size suvs but the fx seemed the most well round. I was all over the map from x5, rx, q5, to mdx. It was a tough decision. I felt the fx was the most reliable and least costly to repair...the german mades we a bit pricy for simple fixes. The ride was a lot stiffer and more sport than the rest but thats okay for me coming from sport cars and large suv's...get the best of both world in the fx.

I also considered the X5, Q5, and the MDX. But i've wanted an FX for so long, and the sporty drive, and feel just kept pulling me back to the FX. I am extremly happy!

Volvo XC60 ( a very cool vehicle if the interior wasn't so plain weird)
Caddy SRX (the shiny interior is like a fingerprint magnet)
