What did you trade in to get your FX?

Traded in 2007 Sierra SLE extended cab. Only 37,000 miles on it. Started as an engineer for Hitachi Automotive, design engineer supporting Nissan/Infiniti products. Never gone back. FX all day everyday.
 
I came from a 2002 Lexus GS430 that I modded a bit. She was hailed on again and the insurance cut me a check to fix it. I sold the car, combined the $$$$ from the sale with the insurance cash and bought my FX.
 
my fx35 was my first "nice car". I sold my previous car which was a 99 Hyundai accent GSI which I ended up adding a turbo plus plenty of upgrades

I traded in a 2002 BMW M3 that was tricked out for autocross. I raced it every couple of months. I purchased an 05 FX45, the biggest thing I have noticed is there really is nothing to speak of as far as upgraded sway bars, ETC. My M3 was FULL of Carbon Fiber goodies and I have noticed it is hard to find stuff for the 45. I found a Silver Carbon Fiber 350Z steering wheel from a 06, and Fuel Door. I got the JWT airfilter and I'm looking for a Carbon Fiber tube for that.But I do Love the FX45 though. My plans are to Install the Akebono oversized brakes, and coilovers. I can't get too Crazy with the suspension on this one because I am raising my Granddaughter who just turned 13 and she complains about "Bouncing Too Much":(
 
I came from a 2008 mazda CX9, which I enjoyed, we purchasd my wife an 08 EX 35. I had been looking at the bodystyle of the FX and had to have it when I purchased it in 2012 it only had 26,000 miles on it less than my Mazda.
 
I traded my 2011 G37 Sedan 6MT. Not gonna lie, I miss her but i am looking forward to my days with my FX!
 
Traded my 1981 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler for my FX, had it set up for rock crawling and moved to SC where there are few rocks to crawl on. Had to drive the thing 5 hrs to ATL to trade it in, and after 5hrs listening to 38" mud tires howl i decided even if i didnt like the fx i wasnt driving that thing back. But I fell in love with the Fx45 the moment I started it.
