What did you do to your (OTHER than FX/EX/JX) today?

People mix this thread up a lot. I even capitalized the "other" hoping it would help. I guessing most people just read the "what did you do to your..." in the search or whatever.
 
I'm putting new timing chains and guides on my old GTI :eek.:

Not too crazy except for the fact that the timing components are between the engine and transmission on this particular motor (VR6). Since you have to remove about eleventy million things just to get to the timing chains, I'll do a few other things while I'm in there (clutch, t-stat, cv axle, etc).

Bought a JWT popcharger for my G35. I already have the Z tube so decided to just finish it up with the popcharger. This is what it should look like installed:
