What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Went and got the akebono sports brakes installed. However was only able to get the fronts installed. Infiniti for some reason did not include the pins and clips that hold the parson place when I purchased the hardware kit a month ago. I was able to get the front pins but not the rear pins. Does anyone know the part number for the front and rear pins and clips. So I can order them and get the rears done

Did you try calling Infiniti Parts USA?

I actually purchased the rest of the pieces at pepboys. Got the whole front and rear hardware kit for $11.25 but all I really needed were the rear pins and clips. Infiniti wanted $10 for each pin and $10 for each clip. Which is bs. Nothing different from the pins and clips pepboys sells then the ones infiniti gives u.

Well. I felt like the driver side was going too smoothly and of course the LAST bolt to remove on the passenger side decides to not move and just strip out. And guess what ... this is the bolt that requires 30" of extensions to access from the hood. Anyone have suggestions? The only solution if I strip out this bolt any more is to pull the motor out...

Sounds good but it sure does stink. The Invidia HFCs are 200cell. Do you guys with hfc get a mildly stinky smell? I dont smell at idle but on about half throttle you can smell from 50ft. I think my car may be running rich... dying to tune now because my Check engine light is already on.

Fixed my leak by cutting off the slip joints and welding on flex pipes.

spend $20 at Home Depot and get yourself a decent heat gun. The hairdryer won't get hot enough to properly post heat the edges.
