What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

WHAT?!?! That's awesome! I didn't know we have seat filters. How do I get access to them to change/clean it?

Just adjust the seat all the way forward/up and then reach under from behind. You can feel it pretty easily since the white filter portion is exposed. Just unscrew and pull out. I'll typically pull them out and run a shop vac through it every few months.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg What Eothain said, push both your seats all the way forward and up move your hand around under the seats and about right in the center you will feel like a round with a feel like a hard cotton ball just turn to loosen it up and that's it, that's only if your seat has heat/cold option, if it's really dark brown then you need to replace it, it has to look white like cotton

got the OEM 21's put on. Wrapped in pirelli scorpion's (275/45/21).

Project Day today, Brake Job (Just in time on one of rear pads), replace bad front hub, everything went great right up until it was time to torque front hub nut. Turns out my torque wrench only goes up to 150 ft lbs and the hub nut is 203-215 ft lbs.

Oh wow, that one brake pad didn't have much life left at all.

On a side note, with Akebonos, the inside and outside brake pads are the same. With every tire rotation, I've been interchanging the inside for the outside and vice versa. I don't know if that's a good idea or not, but I find the inside pad wears down a little faster than the outside pad. In my case, they now wear down evenly.

Guess you could save some money doing that but personally if I've got it apart I'm replacing them:)

Dropped it off at the body shop to finally get the Aero lip to match the rest of the FX. If was off by a shade people told me it was fine but it drove me crazy bc when the light hit the paint at a certain angle I could see the difference.

Replaced HID bulbs and tried Garax 6000k for the first time. Light output is crisp and so bright. Thanks for the recommendation Andy! Contacted the vendor of the Osrams that only last me 1 year and they offered to take it back with a refund.
