What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

^Yes, depends on the vinyl. First batch of Hexis vinyl wasn't good at all(the one I have on my car now) and it did require couple heat cycles. The thicker the vinyl is the more complicated it is IMO. I noticed that a regular 1080p 3M vinyl doesn't require any post heating, on the other hand all textured 3M vinyl will need some post heating on the edges here and there. Wrap glove is a must, I need to buy one...

Finally took it to the carwash since getting the aero kit installed like two weeks ago. Guess waited a good amount of time to let it dry up

Yeah Wayne I take it to the auto car wash never really had a problem there. Specially since he has a contract with a few dealerships near him. Car has never had a scratch specially the black one, people would always ask me if I had just gotten a new paint job and I would say no just took it to the car wash again

I was always afraid to use one, and I never let the Dealer wash my car, they have it marked right on my file.

I actually trust the car wash over the dealer. The only time I do it at the dealer is when it's in the winter and I want all the salt removed from my fx.

Finally ordered the rotors and pads and brake lines. The akebono calipers had been sitting in the garage for a while. Started hearing the brakes grind so I figured it's finally time I replace the brakes

Installed my shark fin antenna and just uninstalled my door puddle lights. I felt like they took too much away from my illuminated kick plates once I got those installed. I'll probably post them up for sale pretty reasonably in a bit if anyone is interested.

installed oem front bumper lip/aero
oil/filter change
coolant drain/refill

took 21" wheels and roof rack to the shop to get painted gunmetal

Third time's a charm: finally finished vinyl wrapping my front grill. My car is fully blacked out now except for the roof rack and wheels. OEM 21's may get painted black but haven't decided yet.

went to UPS to pick up the stop tech sports kit for my akebono brakes that I have to get installed. Now just waiting for the brake hardware to come in from Infiniti and then have to get the brakes done.

I removed mines last year and slightly washed them, but I know by the end of this summer I have to replace them, I just forgot the part numbers, please provide thanks, and are they still about $60-$80 right?
I believe the part number is 873839N00A I saw them for $70.98 each at suburbaninfinitioftroyparts.com

I remember seeing this a while back. I ended up tapping the filter on the floor and putting back in. Now that summer time is here and that seat cooler will be on most of the time, I might just tappity tap, and vacuum it. Might even submerge in water and soap and let the dirt slowly come off. I don't want to agitate it and risk it coming apart.

Also, partsgeek has these for some old Infiniti M's that are in a square shape. They do have it for a Ford 150 that is circular and looks itentical to the one pictured above.
