What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

give it some time for the CBI's to break in. about 20+ hrs and you'll notice it's more whiter.

i've had mine for almost a year now and it's great.
it matches my morimoto 5000k fogs

Swapped transfer case fluid, it was slightly overdue. I tried to do it about 1.5 years ago at 50K, but didn't have a socket that fit the drain plug due to my Invidia exhaust - the flex section is right there. So I picked up a 1/2" socket the following week and waited another 1.5 years to do the job which actually took 15 minutes. At 64K, the fluid looked fine, just darker red than new ATF, no weird smells. The magnet on the drain plug had a little sludge on it, but nothing like what I saw on my front and rear diffs at 50K.

And a few days ago, I did swap on the TBW aluminum belly pan. Yesterday, I bottomed out and realized that it's much louder than OEM plastic when you scrape something. But no damage, it looks like I just hit the bolts.

Haha I hear you on the loudness when scraping. I have the Zspeed undershroud on the Z and it's quite a scene when scraping. I learned after the first time to just avoid any sharp elevation changes.

Yeah, I'm still learning. It's actually a lower profile than the OEM plastic one, but it's louder. With the OEM one, I knew I was scraping in certain areas, but I really didn't care since you could barely hear it. Now I'm very aware each time I make contact.

Yeah I think my driving height is really similar to yours, and my belly pan scrapes on a lot of shit. So much so that its all fucked up now and sagging down.
