What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

The flake is definitely a lot brighter than I thought it would be. But it's not like that from every angle. For the most part they look like a gunmetal grey. Traditional colors got boring so I figured I'd try something different and new. I can for sure understand how they wouldn't be for everyone haha. And with that said I'm glad I only went with 2 light coats of the flake.

Get your hands on a can of the glow in the dark PD. That shit is nuts. I want to rock that just for a couple days to screw with people.

That would be awesome. Trim pieces + wheels would have it looking like something out of Tron ha. Might have to hit my front badge with it to see how it turns out.

Replaced--- Cracked Radiator, Radiator mount bushings, Radiator Hoses, Serviced Tranny, New Air Filter and did an Oil change.
Next project---brake job and Put Winter wheels and tires on.

Did a 3" visual drop today. Removed some really nice Aluminum crossbars. Although not much, saved several lbs & a tiny bit of drag :/

If you don't use em get rid of them. :good:

I actually use mine for my ski racks and mountain bike racks, so I need them. Otherwise I would have gotten rid of them as well. Makes it much easier to clean the roof, and looks good.

Hell I might have gotten rid of the roof rack altogether if I didn't need them.

lol. I was looking at the rack itself too. Thinking, what do I need it for. I should go wagon.

You should do it.

I think I might ditch the entire thing this summer just to see how I like it. With how low I am, it will just further exaggerate the wagon look.

The other good one is to ditch that unicorn antenna. I shaved mine when I was wrapping my roof. I hated that thing.

Yeah. Antennas ugly.
Only problem with the rack removal, is I think you need to shave the mounting bolt. There's like no going back
I do like wagons though. Our rears are a little on soft side. Looks a bit bubble like without rack on certain angles too

And I hate when the crew calls me suv. I correct them with wagon all the time

Found this, but looks like a bit of work on the antenna. Of course Jeff is so capable

Its a bit more work but you can pull down the headliner and pull the bolts. That'd be the least permanent way of doing this. Although I guess you could just chop them and then when you want it back just pull the headliner, yank the cut bolts and replace them.

Either way if you ever want to put it back you are going to have to pull the headliner.

As for the antenna, you could just find a rubber cap which fits the hole, I siliconed a rubber cap under mine, and then just wrapped the entire roof. All evidence is gone.

Anywhere a picture of the hole? I didnt see any DIY instructions anywhere. I'd love it gone!

I'll see if I have one when I get home.

This is a picture of the antenna assembly. The hole is no bigger than that nut you see there.

After pulling off my TB and cleaning it my idle went out of whack. Tried the relearn procedure numerous times with no luck. Brought it to Harte infiniti here in Ct. and they did it and got it back to normal. paid $159 anyways best service ever very nice and quick, called me about 2 hours later so I can pick it up. They even washed it... lol

With or without the free swirl marks?

My dealer does the same thing, but their car washes are terrible.
My Dealer has it written right on my file "Do not wash customers car" I told them I don't want them to do it, even though their wash jobs look pretty good.
