What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

My 4 year factory warranty is up in 3 days so I took my FX50 in to the Dealers (Guelph Infiniti). It's close to a 2 hour drive. I told them my belt was noisy and my AC compressor was noisy. So they checked it out and are going to replace the compressor. That will be under warranty and they will replace the belt at that time. So I will be going back when the compressor comes in.
They also cleaned up my FX for me, all at no charge. Props to Guelph Infiniti.
I still have a couple of years warranty left on the powertrain.

Wow...those are the first visors I've seen that I really like. Love the low profile look of them...much nicer than the usual ones. May have to scoop up a set :)

me too, I want to get some but I doubt that double sided tape would hold in these crazy winters we have here.

They hold in my other cars in the past in Chicago winter. Just use alcohol wide to clean the surface that it gonna stick on it should hold without problem.

I use the stick on visors on my pick up trucks and I have never had a problem with them.

hmmm maybe I will give them a try this summer and hope for the best. It does go into -50c here once in a while with wind chill, plus when the car is moving it must be colder than that.

That's where i bought mine as well but i paid less. Not sure what the total was. What you do is add it to your cart and fill out your info including your email but dont complete the sale. Within a few hours you will receive an email from Carid.com with your incomplete order with a coupon for 15 or 20% i believe. Thats what i did. Not sure if it still works but worth a shot.

they sell for 100 here

If you install properly when the temperature is in range and give the tape enough time to "cure" you should be fine. If you're really worried, just pick up some 3M adhesion promoter. The tape is the same stuff that OEM's use on certain parts. It's weaker in extreme cold, but if you're not trying to pry the part off, it's not going to be an issue.

If it's the same noise I had from the A/C being on like a clicking sound very faint, then it's not the compressor. You know my history. You will know right away when you pick up your car.

No clicking at all, just a loud whine or whistle when the air was on. It really bothered me but Karen hardly noticed it until I pointed it out. I used to turn my air off just so I didn't have to listen to it.

Please remember wind chill means nothing to inanimate objects.

A few days ago I decided to vinyl wrap my grill. That was not a success at all so I ended up using plasti dip
