What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Finally got CarLink to activates today. Such a PITA, I bought this from Amazon, but it can only be activated by an Audiovox authorized dealer/installer.

Yeah Chris. I wasn't able to find an Audiovox Dealer to get this thing activated until now. Finally located one an hour away from me!

I finished up my stillen s/c stage 4 upgrade...had to replace the failed stage 3 fuel/timing box.

installed a new kirkland battery. oem one was having cold start issues. also put in some cree reverse lights. onna test them out tonight

Was a little bored yesterday before we went to get together with the rest of my family and wrapped my shifter in carbon fiber. I got the idea from lucky but I did mine a little different, instead of leaving the chrome strip as is I put a piece of clear carbon fiber to match my shifter plate. As stated by lucky it was a pain in the ass to wrap but I think it came out pretty good for my 1st attempt, I'll get some pics up later.

I was missing the original silver strip so just cut a piece of chrome molding tape .

Not bad, looks good, am sure the button area was fun to tuck and wrap

Actually the button area was pretty easy all I did was just heat it up the vinyl enough to push my squeegee in and cut it, the hardest area for me was the center strip cavity.

Swapped out the front brake pads last night with turbo and Soon's help. I really waited until the last minute for this. I believe turbo's words were, "Looks like you had about six or seven miles left on these pads."
