What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

It all depends on how badly the plastic is weathered/damaged ... I probably wouldn't go as low as a 100 unless it's severe, but I'd def go all the way up to 1500 to get the nice smooth surface before buffing and polishing them out.
 
Had to repaint my winter wheels today. The cinders they put on the roads up here chipped the paint last winter.

Man, each time I see those wheel paint in action I've been telling myself I should try it out. They look so good. :good:
 
Loaded up the FX with a set of 22's and dropped them off at powder coating shop
for some sweet loving... They are chrome but will be gloss black by next Fri.
I've read a lot of good views on powder coating and this my first experience
So I'm very nervous. I hope it will turn out awesome. I feel like a little kid.... sooo excited.
Will post pics as soon as I can..
 
Finally got CarLink to activates today. Such a PITA, I bought this from Amazon, but it can only be activated by an Audiovox authorized dealer/installer.

Wash, Wax and installed new :iS:Decals and a bottle of Lucas Fuel System treatment. Ready to roll off to Passadena for Family Christmas Party.

also, started the gear shifter custom mod... I had an upgraded (06+) shifter panel, but it was partially broken when my dash got changed (I did not know it until year later), then took shifter panel to do some carbon wrapping, and it totally fell apart. So instead of getting new $70 panel, I figured I'll do something custom... Have MOMO knob to go with custom look once its complete

Comeon! Arrrrgh! I would've traded emblems with you! lol, my gold chrome emblem was fading so I had use metallic gold over it instead
I prefer gold chrome, but it's expensive
