What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

She's fresh and shiny, Ian :good:

Haha, had the DA for two summer and didn't get to use it yet.

Thanks all.

Looks great Ian! Is that your first time claying the FX?

How long did it take? And did YOU do it? ;)

Yeah, it was me. City pics means I'm in the condo and didn't wash myself, but if you see grass in the pic then it's me busting my @ss at the house lol. Started at 8 am and finished 10:30ish. Clayed last year, I usually clay and seal twice a year.

Wanna sell it lol. There's one on amazon for $117 that I think I'll pick up next week.

Jonas, How did you like the Ricardo's Clay you got from me before?

I haven't used it yet. I only clayed my car once this year early spring and I still used leftover clay I had. I am looking forward to trying it out.

I used to be all excited about keeping my FX detailed....not so much especially starting 2013. Not exactly sure why. I actually do have some time today but just don't feel like it for some reason.

I hear you on that, I have all my supplies ready to do my 50, but haven't started yet, heck I have only washed it twice since I got it.
You have entered a new world with your daughter, every day is a new experience with her, lots of fun watching her progress and participating with her. That's probably why you have been neglecting the FX some.

Looking for a new GTR, very nice :good:. Are you going to replace the FX.
Yes, depending of the financials, it should be for next year. I am looking to buy a low mile 2012 and 2013 and mod it to my liking. The GT-R offers a perfect driving position for me in contrat to the FX as my tall frame 6'4'' with long legs does not fit as well. And since I used the back set once in 1 year and that I got the approval of my girlfriend (she basically said it was my car, made for me...lol)...I still enjoy the FX terribly but I want to get my dream car as well. :smile (2):

Oh wow, that would be awesome, and to get the GF's approval, you are almost there.

Nice wheels. I like the look you're going for. You planning on keeping the chrome for contrast? How is the offset of the wheels?
