What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Well, I went and pickup Jonas FX50S spare tire for a test fit onto my BBK setup. It no go. The spare rim is not wide (diameter wise) enough. I believe the spare is 18". I need at least 20" to clear the BBK.

Aw that sucks. I was really hoping it would work for you.

Good shot, of the Blackworks Racing Gold Lugs and my tires. I have since cleaned off the excess glue.

My Panavise Cellphone mount

It is installed but I have no pictures of it in the car. Will grab some soon. I have to get out there with my DSLR.

:good: Good looking stance as always with the GTR wheels. I want to hear your feedback on the Panavise mount. I had one and it bounces pretty bad. May the +06 mount is different from the -06?

Thanks, I moved the 25mm H&R's up front. Might end up swapping those out for a set of 30mm in the near future.

As for the panavise mount, I have no complaints, no bounce and even with a really cheap cell phone holder it still grips good. I know there is differences in the -06 and +06. I only affixed one of the three screws as well, they sent two extra screws to affix it and I never used them. It seems that the actual dash and center console area pinch the mount so tight that it cannot really move much anyways.

For me it was between the Kuda mount and the Panavise, I ended up with the panavise cause it was about $50 cheaper and i felt where the phone ended up being positioned is better (its illegal to use your phone while driving in canada but with the mount if kinda just looks like I am using the navigation or something).

Dipped the door handles this past weekend. From far away it looks alright but close up it's a bit too textured for me. I'm gonna get the door handles and chrome trim at the bottom of the doors color matched and painted soon.

I love your colour. I kinda like the chrom that kinda adds some pop with your wheels, but im sure once I see it colour matched it will look good too.

Here are the last couple of things I managed to do before I left the FX again for three weeks:

Blackworks Racing Fender Washer Kit, matches my Lug nuts and will eventually match my fittings and wires in the engine bay as I am going to rewire almost everything under there. I still have a lot of cleaning and work to do in the engine bay, biggest thing is the Kinetix V+ plenum I am sourcing.

And here are the two pictures of the Panavise mount (for andy):

(I am re-wrapping that clock area, I just ran out of material).
