What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

It's a Weapon R Coolant Overflow tank for the G35. I got it on eBay, I think it's an older part and a lot of shops don't carry it anymore. Took a while of searching to find. But it came directly from Weapon R's warehouse so I assume they're still being made.

My 2 front used falkens are about to explode on me, their VIBRATING like crazy on any speed + tire threads are separating and cracking. Just called American tire and ordered 275/45/20 hankook rh06s $690 installed, balanced and aligned! Excited for these tires!

i was contemplating between 265/50s or 275/45. Ive been running used 275/45s and the car feels a little quicker.. So i got the 275s

Do you know are the spacers hub centric? If not, you will have vibrations.

I do not know, how do I find out, bought it off classifieds thru Craigslist

And how would I fix it? Buy another set of hub centric rings? Kind would I need?

Washed the outside and detailed the engine bay. It cleaned up really nice. Im not normally a fan of Armor All wipes but I had some laying around so when I was done steaming the engine bay I hit it with the wipes and it looks basically like a brand new engine. :smile (2):

When the wheel is put on the hub (before any lug nut), does it the center bore of the wheel fit on the lip of the spacer fit snug? Another way is to measure it. Measure the center ring outer diameter. It should be 66.1 mm for the FX.

3 fit perfectly but one, the guy had to put some type of liquid to slide it thru

It's only 7:26AM here .... nothing today but waxed her twice yesterday ...... however; Thursday did a little work to her:

1. Brakes all the way around - new StopTech SS Braided Lines (F&R), New R1 Concepts Rotors (F&R) Slotted and Drilled, New Hawk Performance Ceramic Pads (F&R)
2. Changed out my Stillen Cat Back Exhaust - Exhaust is a Franken model .... Stillen Double Y W/ Resonator Delete, Dual Flowmaster Super 44's and Stillen Tips.

I wasn't sure if I would like the tone or not since all I could hear on the net were FX45's with Flowmaster 80 Series not running in dual configuration. I gotta tell you the more I drive it the more I love the exhaust note.

That was probably the BEST $200.00 I have spent on the FX45. It is not excessively loud at idle ..... sounds deep and satisfying on REV's and WOT. Little to no drone with the exception of 1500 RPM to about 2200 RPM. My biggest concern was that the FX45 would sound like a truck .......

Not the case ..... my girl now has a nice deep burble burble ..... I especially love the sound as you accelerate down the road .......

Guess I can also include work last week as well ..... was tired of the old wheels so purchased new wheels and tires last week ......... below are the spec's:

1. Wheels - 22X10.5 W/ 25MM Offset - while they are not the most expensive wheels I gotta say I love the look, TSW Jarama in Hyper Silver W/ Polished Lip. They are a 1 piece with a 2 piece look ...... my favorite thing about the wheels are the lips .... 3.75 inches of lip on all 4 wheels .... no staggering for me ...... The Lips are so BIG that A little baby could curl up on them and sleep ... ZZZ zzz ZZZ ... didn't want to drop $4K on wheels for a Daily Driver, also, still have my eye on next car purchase and the Mods for it aren't cheap ..... very happy with the purchase so far ........
2. Tires - This will be the 4th set of Nitto 420S installed on the FX since I purchased her ..... 4X 285/40R/22

Well that's everything I have done over the last 2 weeks - today going to see about a few paintless dent repairs as well as quote on Suede Headliner and Post ..... can't wait to get that done as the fool at the carwash left the friggin sunroof open and now the headliner is all stained up .... just another excuse for me to pamper my baby though!! :P
