What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

3M Scotchprint 1080 brushed titanium. It matches the rest of the trim pretty closely, it's just a bit more sparkly. The brushing looks more real than the OEM trim as well, I may wrap everything. Didn't want to go CF since it's not a sports car and with all the seude in the interior, it would be a weird combo.

Also changed the oil to Mobil 1 synthetic and drain/filled the tranny.

If there's brushed titanium, I've got to assume there's brushed aluminum available. Just curius why you chose the Ti to go up against OEM aluminum (assuming that's what you have). Does brushed alum wrap look like crap?

The OEM is more titanium than aluminum. If you look at it closely, there is a slight bronze tint to it. Brushed aluminum wrap is bright silver. Brushed titanium is the closest match and the shade is almost exact. It just has a little more metallic than OEM and the brushing has a more pronounced grain to it. In most lighting, it looks exact. But if you shine a direct light one it, the wrap shines a lot more than the OEM which looks dulle.

That looks sooo good.

Old pic, and not great, but it gives you some idea. It's charcoal suede, not black since that seemed too dark. It's been on for 3 years and no issues w/ fading nor has anything come unglued. The guy that did it for me has been doing interiors for 20 years and done mine for the past 10, he mentioned that you really should use contact cement and not 3M. 3M is great for smaller projects, but for something like a headliner, it may not hold up over time and can allow sagging and corners to come unglued.

Got any pics of the suede?

This is really good to know about the 3M, thanks for sharing this info.

Accepted the fact that Portland got screwed out of snow this year, and transitioned from Winter Mode to All-Season Mode. I wasn't excited at all until I saw the FX with the oem 20's installed again. :)
