Nice, looks good.
The glare from your car makes it looks like you got into a bad fender bender lol
All done!
So it was a productive day. With the Magnaflow X-pipe, the Invidia sounds like a really aggressive stock exhaust. It's deeper than the Nismo, and a bit meaner. But at full throttle, it's only a bit louder than stock, and deeper. I'll get sound clips soon, but I personally think it sounds great. Some may find it too mild, but I like it. No drone, it's a tiny bit "boomy" around 2k rpm, but almost impossible to notice in the car. At highway cruising, it's only a tiny bit louder than stock. It sounds "smoother" than the stock exhaust. No rasp at all, no buzziness. So for those of you who think the Invidia is too loud, I'd highly recommend the Magnaflow X-pipe. As a technical note, I had the shop weld on an extra hanger to the right mid-pipe. There is a factory hanger there, but not one on the Invidia. This had the extra benefit of bringing the pipe up enough to clear the GT-Spec lateral brace. Otherwise, it would hit.
Finally installed the sub box I bought 5 months ago. I didn't like the carpet it had on there so I wrapped it in charcoal suede to match my interior. Nothing is hooked up yet, still need to get 5 channel amp, should be all done by Thanksgiving. Also need to build trim panels. The stock floor fits over this and my cargo mat goes on that so I haven't given up any utility, just the spare which I've never used.
Then got around to installing all the interior LED bulbs that I just got. Much better than stock.
This pic shows the dome lights which I tinted w/ film to match the headliner. The flash makes them look black, but it's much closer to a dark grey. Basically the interior looks like a coffin now, almost everything is blacked out or suede now.
Still pretty bright when on.
Don't have pics, but I also threw more dynamat in a few spots; took it for a test drive and it's eerily quiet. The sub box made a huge difference since I basically added another layer of fiberglass and wood the sound has to pass through. I can't hear the car at idle anymore and can barely hear it during acceleration. Then I installed the PAC AOEM NIS-2 to hook up the amp. Still not sure if it'll work on my '07, but all the pins were in the right place and my radio still works fine along w/ iPod connection so I'm hopeful. Next week I will hopefully get to the shop so I can have the custom Invidia exhaust w/ Magnaflow resonated X-pipe welded up and installed. In the meantime, back to the long running quad projector saga.
Aftermarket. It's hooked up to a nav&tvtogo along with the nav screen. I used to have a ps2 hooked up to it to play DVD'Is your drop down monitor after market or stock! If after market, what video source are you running and where'd u install it?
Also you can paint those seat belt pieces to match the headliner etc. I did when I did my headliner install. Looks much cleaner. I can't really see how much tan stuff is in there from that angle
