What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

thanks!. sigh i wish i had a garage bto work in the winter!!!!! could of done the headers, transgo, gtspec braces, brakes, unichip, lol list goes on on parts i have at home!

Not to rub it in or anything but I've installed everything on your list, by myself, with basic hand tools (optional drill press for the transgo), in my driveway. The only things I wouldn't do in the winter out there are the shift kit and the headers, because they take so long you might freeze to death in the process. Everything else is quick enough to do in the rain. The braces take 10min...

Did you get the plug and play Unichip adapter?

I hear you on the garage, I don't have a garage either.

Installed new rear tires, went up from 285/35/22 Toyo's to 305/35/22 Pirelli P-Zero Scorpions. Much quieter.

As an FYI, Pirelli's run larger relative to Toyo's which run small. I just found that out the hard way when the car literally rubbed the entire drive to work. My car is slammed and the tire is even w/ fender. Fenders are rolled flat, any more and they would be pulled. Plastic is cut. I had finalled dialed in the old setup and measured and it looked like I had enough room to clear the 305 tires. I figured they were only 10mm wider per side and minimally taller. W/ the Pirelli's, it's more like 15mm bigger on each side. So it looks like I'll have to raise the car 1/2" or so.

It does look incredible though, the tires are flush w/ the fenders and there is 0 tire gap. I can't fit a finger between the fender and the tire.

The drop is more even than the pic shows, the front wheel is turned slightly. Need to put spacers back on the front, but the 15mm's I had were too much at this ride height. I'm thinking 10mm would be good, but I just haven't found the time to replace the studs. Tomorrow I'm going to trim the plastic a tiny bit more, raise the rear 1/2" and stiffen the damping a click or two.
