What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Today my friend who works at an auto body shop helped me damage my rear bumper a little more so insurance would get me a new read bumper!
 
Why? A new bumper cover is a few hundred dollars. There aren't any aftermarket rear bumpers, so you're committing insurance fraud to get a relatively cheap part. Couldn't your friend at the body shop have just fixed it for cheap? Now you have another claim filed (even not at fault claims do get counted against you as an incident) and if you have a real accident, your rates will go way up.

just got a shipment from r1concepts... front n rear ceramic pads and rotors for under $200... just gotta find time to do the install... wasn't going crazy for premium rotors and pads for now and needed something asap because my front rotors are warped bad!
 
Modified my intake tube that I made a while ago to accommodate the new k&n cone style filter. It was about an inch longer than the old filter i had used and wouldn't fit.

I made my own intake a while back for $45 with 3" exhaust pipe piece and cone filter. It doesn't look as good as the store bought ones but it gets the job done. And sounds much better than the stock intake

When you say "...3" exhaust pipe piece...", do you mean aluminized steel?

I dont know what type metal it is It was purchased at autozone I believe it said it was stainless steel-basically used for an exhaust extension etc. I have had it on there since about a week after I bought my fx 4 years ago. Not pretty though
Drilled a big hole for the adapter for the rubber hose
 
Nope. Not at all the piece I got was not intended for intake.It didn't have any holes or adapter plates etc. just a straight piece of 3" ID pipe

Got my set of morimoto 6k and TSX-R clear lens in the mail today. Gonna try and get this done over the weekend. Not sure I I wanna repaint the housing gloss black of leave stock.
