What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Took the FX in to the dealership for the 30k service and they changed the transmission fluid, differential fluid, coolant system, oil change and many other things.
 
Spent entire morning detailing her like crazy for a video shoot Downtown LA tomorrow! Still awaiting details as to the exact location. Some promo video for something ... I'm just excited to get her in front of a pro crew! :)
 
Applied fresh wax. Poorboy's World Natty Blue Paste Wax made specifically for black cars:

Since I was home watching my son all day, I got a few little projects done.

Sound deadened the hatch area

Finally color match the tan plastic to the suede headliner (2 years late) along with grab handles

Dyed it to better match the factory carpet

Then I cleaned up seats after letting the Leatherique sit overnight. They're much better, it's pretty good stuff.

Finally, I got around to washing it.

Now I just need to install the sub box (couldn't cut off the spare tire bracket because I didn't have my extension cord for the angle grinder). Then build an amp rack and wire everything. Sending my sunvisors off to get wrapped in suede. Also decided not to install my blacked out headlights I got from sir21 yet. Since I have the spare, I might as well have the TSX lense put in along w/ LED halos and smoke the side markers.
 
Finally got the chance to reinstall my KP Tech Matrix Decoder module (independent fog lights operation). This is a replacement unit from KP, the first was deffective.

I was going to go that route too but I heard them either not working or they stop working after being used for a while.

So instead my electrical guy is going to hard wire a switch and relay instead. I've been wanting this mod for the longest.
 
You know, I just realized my wife has swiped the FX from the driveway every day this week. I've been so busy with work I didn't even notice.

Just washed and appied a quick coat of Z. Wanted to do a complete interior detail but its gotten soo hot outside already !!! Time for a quick dip in the pool :)
