What did they do for the 60K maintenance Jonas.
Transfer case flush
Rear and front diff exchange
power steering flush
coolant flush
all Nissan fluids used.
Penzzoil ultra oil change and mobil 1 extended 15k mileage oil filter - as usual but changed this time only after 3k miles.
Front brakes are a 4, rear are a 3.
Tires are at 9 in front and 8 at rear.
They spent extra time doing a more than normal inspection and said everything was fine, including the heat shields are nice and tight.
They also (free of charge) did a "tune up", which to me was new and only found out after I returned to pick up the car. They did this because they had a lot of extra time and they know how peculiar I am about my car and have an extremely good relationship with the head mechanic and managers there. They knew I wanted them to check as much as possible before my 60k warranty is up even though I have the 100k warranty when I purchased the car from the Infiniti dealer. I guess they did an idle relearn and printouts of other relearns like load signals, air cond signals, heater fans, etc....not sure exactly as this was new to me. I guess they call this a "mini-tune up". This is what the head mechanic said when he came out when I showed up. They also attached results of computer diagnostics and a full scan test of every system in the car. There is a printout of the car on a sheet of paper with specifics of the results. For example, that the transmission sensors all reported fine, trans devices checked out fine, brake sensors checked out, engine intake tests passed, air bag sensors, etc as it goes through the list.
All this for $493
Today or tomorrow I plan to purchase the filters, etc to do myself.
By the way, the FX is driving unlike I've ever driven since day one from 26k miles. It's a completely different car....in a good way. I did the throttle body cleaning the day before and during my drive I didn't notice any change really. Maybe it was snappier, but nothing really dramatic, but maybe I was expecting a lot. However after I left the dealer and even now again driving (this is not fading), the rpms are different, the shifting is smoother at high rpms. The rpms are at 550, not 650. It seems to sound better and run better at 550. Also, I notice that it holds it's gears longer...almost like I'm driving in DS mode, but not. DS mode has hard shifts, but in regular mode it now almost shifts holding higher rpms, but does not have those aggresive downshifts. It's almost like I got a trans flash and ecu update, but I didn't. I would have been told if I did. It must had been all the relearns that they did that the car really needed for a long time, even before I bought the car at 26k miles. It also feels like the pickup is better and just wants to go more. You know how the trans is in really low gears in normal driving, well now it seems to hold up much higher so when you press on the gas, the response is much more and this is just in regular mode.
I would suggest anyone going for a long service that has a good relationship with the dealer to do a "tune up" of all relearns, etc and whatever else they can do and also do a full diagnostic report that goes into detail all the sensors, etc and if they pass or not.
