What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Just returned from the bank. The FX is 100% paid in full.

Party time
Fantastic, congrats Jonas.
Obviously you are doing something right, getting all those home improvements done and still having money left over to pay off your FX.
Heck, I still owe a little bit on my FX, but my money is making more in investments than the low interest rate I have on my FX loan.

Thanks guys.

Wayne- exactly. As long as the auto loan interest is less than the interest you are gaining elsewhere after taking into account the 30% or 15% tax on the gains and that the auto loan interest is computed daily, then better not to pay off. In my case, I wanted to get the monthly payment off the books with the baby coming and daycare being on the books near $900 a month soon.

Excellent Jonas, sounds like you are getting all your ducks in a row :top:

Just got new tires for the ride. Changed out the old Hankook 265/50/20 to Yoko Prada Spec-X 275/45/20.

Switched out my wheel spline wheel locks for Muteki SR35 wheel lugs and locks. c6e4e32d-e1a6-fa17.jpgc6e4e32d-e1bd-3623.jpg
I did the exact same thing, the spline lugs suck and the key is always stripping out on them.

Washed the FX over the weekend. Of course drizzling today! Damn it

Also a while back I used VHT on the rear reverse light covers. I made the mistake of clearing them after which looked like SH!T afterwards. So i took them off, sprayed them down with brake clean to get all the paint off and redid just with VHT. Looks amazingly better! Actually has a nice clear coat look to them. I will have to get a pic up soon.

Next up is to VHT rear reflectors. Leaving the sport brake lights alone just to stay legal. Debating whether to tint the 3rd brake light

I know. Every time I wash my car it rains the next day. It has happened the last four times and then it will be sunny and clear for the next 4-5 days. I really dislike VHT too. I used it on my sidemarker lens on my tailights during the Euro spec conversion. Long story short, wasted two hours spraying and sanding the lenses and ended not using VHT in the end.

The VHT is working great. It was the DupliColor clear I sprayed over it that made it look crappy. I thought it would protect it but instead it made it very dull

Quick iPhone pic of the VHT (after removing VHT and the Duplicolor clearcoat and respraying with just VHT)
