What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

just got my 35 back from Infiniti Massapequa. Big thanks to Kenny for hooking me up with a Viper Remote Start. What are you guys & gals waiting for? Get yours done now!

While crossing over a bridge on the highway, a rock flew in the window, hit me in the face, and landed in the passenger seat. First reaction, put the window down and toss the rock out so it doesn't dirty up the interior.

Driver side was down. I threw it out the passenger side window, once down, as another car was coming up the hammer lane ready to pass.

Performed the "wheel shake DIY" and cured my random 55mph vibration! Ended up removing my 25mm spacers because I cannot seem to solve my 80mph vibration. I have tried everything and as soon as I pull the spacers the FX drives like it's brand new at any speed. Guess I'll just have to wait for the "flush" look until I can get the rims I want. Beautiful day here in East Tennessee...about to take the FX for a drive and enjoy the work. Have a great Saturday everyone!

Which spacers do you have?

Which spacers do you have?

I purchased these spacers from KDAY on the G35Driver forum a couple of years ago. They worked well on our G35 and I assumed would transfer to the FX...not the case. I should have gone with the H&R spacers from day one but these had good reviews and they are quality pieces, just not the right setup for this car. I see others on IS are having good luck with the H&R's. Live and learn...

I have a set of kday's spacers on my fx and I don't have any problems.

The next time you have yours off, can you place the spacer inside the wheel and tell me if you have room to move the spacer around within the hub? For these to truly be hub-centric I would expect them to sit firmly inside the wheel without movement. Thanks for the reply...glad yours are working out well for you.

Picked up a used Stillen true dual exhaust today. Will post pictures and videos later. Exhaust needs some polishing and extra coating:)
