What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Well today, i got my windshield and front windows tinted 20%. and Ive had the fx for about to weeks, already blacked out th roof wheels and emblems, also door handles. too bad i can't post pics cuz I'm a new member ;[

^ Welcome to IS Juan! Hurry up with the pics! Maybe you can create a garage in the meantime. I tinted my windscreen with 50% and I'm so glad I did it. Worth the risk of getting ticketed, lol.

50% whoa. Do you have any pics of that? I'm dieing to do my windshield.

On page 2 of my garage you will see one. When my FX is back to "normal" I will post up more pics, but you'll get an idea of what its like for now. The tint is pretty dark, it's even hard to see that I have brick interior. If you do the windscreen, do the boot tint too. I did 15% on it and it looks so good, can barely see through the back during the day.

Ended up not being a front passenger hub bearing, it was the rear passenger hub bearing (I guess not bad from diagnosis from the driver's seat).

Going to order a hub assembly with 5 all new wheel stud and hub bearing.

Will I have a possible issue with removing the ABS sensor without breaking it in the rear too? The rears are pricey!

No ABS Sensor involve in the rear hub replacement. The rear sensor is on/near the axle shaft. No where near the hub. Replacing the bearing and hub save lots of time on installation for sure, but I didn't want to spend another $120 for the hub. I guess I paid for it with my time :smile (2):

I needed an excuse to replace it anyways (hub), because I wanted new studs as well. I had rust building up and it'll be nice to have a clean hub.

Got flowmaster tips installed today.they look amazing! Installed the kinetix intake plenum 2 days ago first i forgot to put on a sensor and got a cel but I put it on and light went away today thank god. Great sound from the flowmaster and plenum with fujita combo. Tomorrow spacers go on! Sorry quick question I'm gonna have Chrome stock 20s with spacers. Will I have rubbing issues with 27mm spacers in the rear and 25mm front? Thanks

Nice! Got any pics of the flowmaster tips on the muffler? I'm curious

Will deff take some tomorrow I told him I want them to stick out a little so u can see the flowmaster logo on top of the tips. I think it looks really cool and unique. Never saw any other fx with those tips and the sound changed a little bit too. It sounds nice!

sukhi105- i would run 25mm rear, and 27mm in the front. I have stock rims/tire size and run 25mm lowered on h&r springs and no rubbing what so ever. If your at stock height then im sure you can run 27mm with no issues.

27mm in the back would be fine too? The guy I purchased them from said he had bad handling issues with the 27mm in the front and to put them in the back but he was running 265 40 22 I believe so yeah I wasn't sure if if the 27mm in the back would be okay with my 265 50 20 stockers.

i want an aggressive look to the fx.
would 30mm stick out way too much out the back?
whats the biggest spacer that can be put on stock18 and 20's in the front to be within the wheel well?

I should have posted this earlier. I just helped a friend towing some solar panels and a converter (roughly 600~700 lb) with a 5' by 8' U-hual trailer from Vernon Hills to a freight carrier close to O'Hare airport. The solar panels will be shipped to India for what he told me the first self-sustainable house in India. 2.jpg
