Exterior wash, vac carpets, clean mats, clean interior dash and windows, hand dry with handheld air hose, clean wheels including barrels and tire dressing..... All for $10! Gotta love it.. req $20+ :-)

Gratuity always extra and well deserved.. Yep decided to run with the wheels.. they're pc'd anyway lol.. On toyo proxes st 2 and no issues whatsoever with traction in the rain or snow..

This is an awesome mod! Make sure to add your thoughts to the install thread, Andy. One man's easy job is another man's terrible nightmare... ;)

John's instruction is right on. Just need some clarifications on the double pass through relay wiring from the man himself. The trimming cutting and fitting are the most time consuming.

The bracket is OEM. One of the three exhaust shops I've used removed and scrapped my bracket without telling me. I didn't even notice until I started trying to chase down a vibration. To make matters worse, my new hfc's (Kinetix) don't have the attachment brackets welded to them that would interface with the cat->trans bracket, so when my parts arrive I'm going to have my current shop weld new brackets onto my hfc's so that they can properly be tied to the trans a la the OEM configuration, which should fix the very slight vibration I'm feeling. So far I have a full 3" mandrel bent exhaust with headers, hfc's, no drone, and a tone that I like. The only things left are the vibration (cat brackets) and a very quiet rasp at WOT. I have a bad feeling that it may be my muffler...

There will be an epic exhaust journey thread when/if I am able to dial this thing in to perfection.

On a related note, your guy removed that bracket as well, huh? You might mention to him that you want to keep it just in case. The pro lem with removing it is that it leaves about 8 feet of exhaust hanging from the header studs. The OEM configuration supports the cats at the trans bell housing...

Good point and one of the issues I had with the Invidia, no provisions for lots of free hanging pipe. I'll verify to make sure there is support for the system, headers back.

I bought more spacers today - 30mm and 35mm Ichibas.
 
Installed DDM HID 6k foglight kit, 6k headlights and ddm HP18 LED for DTRL and did the DTRL Swap.. here are pics! IMG_0184.jpg

problem is DTRL is not a direct color match.. NO BUENO!!
 
Got my inspection done today, and while I was waiting there a guy who worked there came and asked me where I got my spacers from and he told me he has an 05 silver fx45 with painted lowers and 22's. He also said he check out :IS: because he saw my decals and said that it looked pretty cool and he would try to get on a post some pics.

I picked up my replacement bracket yesterday. $65 for the bracket, $5 for the mounting bolts, and.....FORTY DOLLARS for the four rubber washers that isolate the bracket from the trans. I had to ask the parts counter guy if i heard him correctly before i declined them. I picked up a package of 12 at the hardware store on my way home for $5.99. Hopefully I'll have time to get them installed next week.
