Sorry to hear about your fx! hope you find it.

My fx had a big day today. had a car wash then headed to a funeral. Came home, found out i won the draw (donated some back to IS). Rest went towards a oil change, air filter replacement (OEM) and a alignment. No more pulling to the left. Now im ready for round 2 trip back to the mountains (6 hours drive) with my girlfriend with a smooth ride.

Heres the results from the alignment

I'm sorry to hear that bro! I know how it feels to get a vehicle stolen and it's beyond heart breaking. Next vehicle get Lojack installed on it!! Goodluck with the search man.

The new JXs have a built in GPS tracker with iPhone app integration so that you could monitor where your JX is from your iPhone kind of like find your iPhone app. I'm sure new FXs will eventually get this great feature! :) Something to look forward to.

Called again to see if it was towed.. And the answer was no.. Darn..[/QUOTE]
Who did you call about the tow? Does the police department have a number they call for all tows in the city?

What did you do to your FX today.....nothing really. I did however have someone flip me off at 5:30 this morning during my commute after they blatantly cut me off to make a pass. If anyone sees PA plate "DARBY", wave hello for me.:wink (2):

Ordered a catalytic converter->trans bracket, hardware, and the little clip that secures the handle to the gear selector shaft. Lost that little bugger in the center console last week...

HFC or just cat?

The bracket is OEM. One of the three exhaust shops I've used removed and scrapped my bracket without telling me. I didn't even notice until I started trying to chase down a vibration. To make matters worse, my new hfc's (Kinetix) don't have the attachment brackets welded to them that would interface with the cat->trans bracket, so when my parts arrive I'm going to have my current shop weld new brackets onto my hfc's so that they can properly be tied to the trans a la the OEM configuration, which should fix the very slight vibration I'm feeling. So far I have a full 3" mandrel bent exhaust with headers, hfc's, no drone, and a tone that I like. The only things left are the vibration (cat brackets) and a very quiet rasp at WOT. I have a bad feeling that it may be my muffler...

There will be an epic exhaust journey thread when/if I am able to dial this thing in to perfection.

On a related note, your guy removed that bracket as well, huh? You might mention to him that you want to keep it just in case. The pro lem with removing it is that it leaves about 8 feet of exhaust hanging from the header studs. The OEM configuration supports the cats at the trans bell housing...
