What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

At first I thought the filter cover was sitting on the ground and was as tall as the oven!...

That's to accomodate Lance's latest mod for the 45...

What i did to my fx 35 today was take it to the dealership to have the dash replaced and the odometer set back. They gave me a g25x as a loaner car

Yep, running OEM mid & Y pipe. In the future may change out the Y though.

Size inlet for rear section is 2.5 inches. Piping is 60mm

Fyi, I have a 2 month old Megan y-pipe and the flex joint is rattling. Scathing product review coming soon...

Really hoping the chicken wire keeps small animals out when this thing is sucking air under WOT.

Hah, that's funny as hell, I didn't pick up on that......

Booooo!!! My dealer gives the G37x. Way more fun... :)

I was a little disappointed but at the same time i was happy i got something easier on gas. plus it's rainging here so couldn't have too much fun anyways. The G25X was slow and had a cheap feel to it(especially the plastic steering wheel). So nice to be back in my FX.Got the FX back with the new dash and they took 2100 miles off my odometer. I'm a happy camper woohoo lol

What's up with that EG?

Well, have a plan that why FX has to go. Clanking noises was there for a while, I need to fix that before selling it. Feel really bad ... but didn't have another choice..
Thanks for your concern Lance..

Called Handy_Andy's 24/7 IT support. I didn't know how to properly use UniChip's software and was not transferring maps from the computer to the UniChip.

Took two seconds for Andy and I loaded his tuned map for ChiFX45 and transferred it to mine.

UniChip's 93 octane aggressive map was noticeable and now with Handy_Andy's plus 2 and 7,500 rev limiter, I'm simply blown away.

It's so noticeable, the plus 2, especially on an already tuned map. I'm still in awe. Having 5 maps loaded, I switched on the fly from different maps and can feel the difference.

Note than after putting plus 2 into the unichip, I ran a scan to confirm but the unchip brings it back to 1.9 advanced timing. Not sure why. Fx35 will keep it at plus 2.

Anyway, UniChip maps were good, this just makes them outstanding.

Can't wait to have Unichip further fine time the a/f ratios.

That's really sweet ED!

Seriously it's unreal. You'll have to test drive my fx. I'm positive you'll be blown away.

Car is so responsive, it feels like I shaved a second off the 0-60 time (exaggeration). I think someone on the org went to the track and did actually obtain .X second shave.

Saweeeet!

Mine auto corrects the timing values as well. 2 becomes 1.9, 1 becomes 0.9, etc... I haven't found any explanation yet.

Hmm, the last time I look at mine was still at exactly 2. I have to check it when I my tuner laptop comes around. No rush Ed. You know I won't be playing with it for another 2 months or so. Seriously, the +2 timing is amazing. Glad it all work out now Ed.

Btw why are there two download buttons? On the left.

The two download buttons perform the same function. They exist because of the suggested "top to bottom" button sequence during a tuning session. You can also just press D.
