Actually it's not your fault, it's app's fault.

ATTENTION ALL USERS:
I've been for the iPhone for about 1 year and several versions have had a bug where it won't bring you to your latest unread post all the time. many times it does, but sometimes no. So what I always do, which guarantees than that it does is quit the app completely from the minimized list of iPhone apps running in the background, then relaunch from scratch. I do this every time I use where I use it for several posts, otherwise you risk about 50% chance of missing posts in a thread.

Just got from the Infiniti dealer with an oil change using Pennzoil ultra and extended life mobil 1 filter. I can't recall last time it purred so well, idled so steady, was so quiet, and very sensitive throttle almost like it wants to go effortlessly. Very happy today! :top:

Saw the same limited in the showroom I saw several months ago, but this time decided to take a closer look and take a picture since I decided to wait for my oil change and talk to the service, tech, and sales guys today. The wheels do look nicer in person, but I'm surprised how much luxury they took out of the interior. The seats, doors, dash parts, etc all look much more just plain with stitching less defined too. I don't get why they would do that with a LE. Maybe to make it more sporty looking? I'm not a fan. I'm glad they are not doing the same on the FX50S....since I'm sure one far day in the future I'll get a newer one when it's like 10+ years old and they got features that just drive you to work and back.

That's the same one that Norwood has. Wasn't known away by the combination of the "special paint" and the rims.individually they look good, but together...eh.

The brushed aluminum on the tailgate was already scratched, and I was still in the showroom!

$17.05 after all labor, shop supplies like washer, waste, tax, etc.

Pennzoil ultra came out to something like $5.55/quart...can't remember. I posted somewhere here yesterday or Sat. Tech told me he used 7 and 1/4 quarts for perfect fill, but now I don't remember exactly what amount. Got half the 5 quart container for next time!

Head tech is also very interested to see how my results from the lab are regarding the valvoline after Infiniti recommended 3,750 mile interval. We talked about oil, what he has seen, recommendations, etc for a good 15-20 minutes over coffee. I always learn something new when going to my dealer, which is one reason I'm glad I go for this kind of stuff instead of doing it myself, but I think it's because also the dealer is smaller than lots of those other Infiniti dealers that have a bazillion service and tech guys, etc. I leave all my money, radar detector, iPod, etc in the car and never have to worry cause I basically know all the guys and they greet and chat with me the minute they see me cause they know I'm into my car.

Funny...the grill on the FX at the auto show was scratched pretty bad and this LE had a scratch too. It's not like I was even looking.

Blackstone told me I can go 6k on castrol gtx if I wanted. So on PU it should come out good. Last I heard people used PP for 7.5k no issues. PP= Pennzoil platinum.

Another thing to keep in mind though is for the $17, you get a car wash (but I didn't this time) and they do a multi-point inspection checklist they fill out each time. So not only are you topped off, air pressure, etc, but also you know in advance how your brakes are doing, tread, shocks, etc. Not that it's hard, but they go through the whole list.

An example: early 2011 when I brought it in for an oil change, their multi point inspection brought up the fact that my battery was fine in general, but was didn't pass their tests at cold crank. Because it was under warranty, they replaced it free of charge, but if I wasn't in warranty, I would know ahead of winter that if I don't want to be pleasantly surprised when I'm stuck dead of winter somewhere and can't start the car, I should replace the battery before then because to me it didn't appear I had any battery issues. The battery would be fine and hold up, but it was the crank power that was bad.

All these kind of tests in addition to everything else with keeping informed for a luxury place is not too bad at all in my book! Of course you get none of this kind of service going to a GM/Ford dealership that I have experienced or any of the quick oil changes even if you bring your oil. Even at cadillac they didn't perform the kind of multi point inspections each and every time like they do at the infiniti dealership.

that's great to know. Were you using the OEM nissan oil filter? We will see how long the P Ultra holds up with a Mobil 1 filter and the blackstone results from it!

On I80 going about 85 hit the brakes on laser alert (little tardy) said he clocked me at 78 wrote 64 on the warning!
