What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Just replaced my burnt out left side marker (tailight) .... that must of been the reasonn why a fuse was blown in the 3rd fuse box behind the battery  .... btw i love the side marker (front and back) .... has anyone used LED sidemarkers instead of the halogens? I think that would be pretty cool:rofl:

Washed the FX, hard to believe I found the time......keeping the rides clean used to be a necessity, now it's a luxury to squeeze out the time to scrub off the dirt.

Agreed, always looks so much better when clean. Hey, you need to post some pics of your new ride Ojay........

Just had 45% windshield and 18% front tints put on. Currently driving back to Michigan in what looks like a big bullseye especially after a clayed and waxed white FX. Installer even said it looks sick and when people pass me, they are looking at me way more cars have today than in the past few months combined. Looks great but I'm losing nerve cells in the process especially since I don't want roll them down until Friday morning.

Tony's a trippy old dude, but he knows his craft.. Tints should be good by Thursday, I rolled mine down 6 hrs later and this was in may.. Just let her sit in the sun to get rid of the haze. Glad you got her done.

"When you bought this car you said you would do nothing to the car...mayyyyyybe a sub but thats it. Ever since u went out and met those other Chicago FXs you've been doing mods and talking about your next mods."

I'm so jealous!!!! Where did you tape the lights to? How did you connect it to your front led's? Are you able to use the same remote for these as well or do you need another remote? Sorry for all the questions but I really want to do this too.

I unclip the seat back under the seat, punch a hole on each side of the strip and use cable tie to secure (like how I did my front foot well) it to the vinyl and then run the wire under the seat rail into the bottom of the arm rest console and tap into the front led wiring.
I don't have the fancy remote control. I wire it to a tiny toggle switch that I tucked in the front foot well area. I energize the toggle switch with the Ignition on wire from the ignition switch near the bottom of the dash. I wire it this way so I don't have remember to toggle it off. The toggle switch will power down with the ignition off, but I can toggle the led off if I don't want them on at night.
