Oh man, I see the rhino ramps. That means you really are doing a late night install. Hope your neighbors don't mind the air tools=)

N air tools were used last night. All by hand. Took about an hour to take the Invidia out. Will be installing the KaKuMei prototype later this morning. Need to find a 3" gasket and couple more bolts. :smile (2):

Finish installing the Kakumei prototype exhaust. It's is about 50% less the sound of my Inividia. I do feel that it is more open better than the Invidia. I wanted silent with comprise performance. This work out prefect for me.

Put on new hose on the oil catch, tightened up the bolts from the HFC install, put some RVT sealant on my y to mid gasket, raised up the coilovers a bit before the drive back to school, and cleaned the barrels of the wheels while they were off.

Looks like one of my lugs melted onto the stud and stripped it. It's the shiny silver part in the middleish thread.

Waiting to try to torque them down once the RTV cures, but it seems to thread fine on any other stud. I just can't get that metal stuff off.

Yeah, hopefully I can torque it back down just fine. The dealership touched them last, so that's probably why.

You can see how the threads are here, doesn't really pick up until that weird mark.

Hand tighten.......how difficult is that. Dealers, how many of them really care?

Going to replace the lug?

That's why I always insist on watching when the tire guy puts on the wheel. Some will use the airgun right off the bat.... Recipe for disaster like this. Are those the $100 lugs?
