I just wanted to give a big thanks to Marek for these led's I love them! I'm gonna order another set and put them under the driver and passenger seats. I think it would be pretty cool to have these lights in the front and back so everyone can enjoy lol.

Wasn't hard at all just take apart the center console, remove radio and clock. Plug the lights into the clock then run your wires to the footwells of each side, plug them into the led's and your good to go just put everything back together.

Ordered some new rotors (Brembo fronts, oem rears) and finally got my busted ass windshield replaced. I had the windshield done by Precision Auto Glass for $225. That included on-site service, oem glass, sealants and primers, a 15min install time, and a lifetime warranty for their installation. Word.

For real BMW 3 series was quotes over a grand! I just did the safe glass Thing where they fill it in.

OE Infiniti windshield lists at $620 with or w/o lane departure, they may have meant "OE quality" or some even use the term "OE replacement" as meaning it's designed to replace the OE one :tongue (2): then theres always the trick of naming a company itself "original equipment", watch out for that one on ebay :wink (2): def not an OE Infiniti windshield at that price though bro...

I'll have to check when I get home. The name of the installer is Precision Glass in SE Portland, OR. The "oem parts" lingo is on their website...

Must be so nice to have clear/clean glass again......

Tim: yeah for that price of $225 seems like its an aftermarket glass unless you went through insurance and that was just paid on top to make the difference. Usually oem glass is around $600 like turbo mentioned.
But anyway I'm sure its a lot better than what you had. There's nothing like a fresh windshield :smile (2):

Hey Jason, those LED looks awesome. Did you just use the double sided tape and stick it up? I drill a small hole next to the strip where there is no LED and tie a small wire tie around it to make sure that it doesn't come apart from the heat.

Hmmm that's not a bad idea Andy ill have to check the strips and see if I have to do that. At.least if I do that one mine it will be less noticeable since I have.black interior with black zip ties. (Oh btw I'm Jonathan no biggie though lol)

I think some 6lb outdoor double sided tape from home depot is more than enough... I don't personally like the idea of drilling into the plastic.

Ya I see what yall guys are saying I'm just gonna use stronger double side tape like PMG recommended.

This is from their website:
  • Our repair shops uses original equipment manufacturer, (OEM) windshields and fast cure OEM sealants and primers. These products may cost more than knock off brands, but will ensure the structural integrity and safety of your windshield for many years.
So does that mean the name of the company that makes the windshield is "OEM"?
