What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Stretched her legs for the first time in a long time. Took part in a run out to Captree. Triple digits on snow tires isn't the smartest thing to do though.:err:

blizzaks scare me at ~90, and flat out worry me at ~110:confused: I miss my summer wheels. but hey, spring break is in two weeks....theyre going back on:tup:

I found out I have a paint chip on my hood this morning... :(
Must be one of those small rocks from snowplow when they scraped the bottom to plow snow...
It was very windy yesterday and I guess one of the rocks got flew by and hit my hood...
Had to use the touch up paint that I carry around...
Wasn't a really big concern to me since it is already more than 5 years old, but still... :(
Watch out for those rocks

Had my second conversation this week with JWT about cams for the VK. Who's with me for a group buy? =)

but tomorrow's weather is supposed to be 60 degrees so It'll be getting a wash and quick detaillll

Got my BC Racing coilovers yesterday from Josh. Andrew, la_fx35, helped me install them last night. Wow, what a difference these make, from looks to handling!

Did I told you I've never install a Coil over system before?
Much easier than installing the regular springs/struts/shocks setup for sure. Enjoy

 Installing coilovers is such an easy job to understand after the DIY. Makes me feel so much better having that satisfaction that we did it and not some shop. Saving $300 isn't bad either. :balanced:

PICS !!:tonguey:

As you wish. The height is factory settings from BC with H&R 25mm spacers. It dropped almost two inches from having H&Rs. Going from H&Rs to coilovers, was like that huge transition from stock to H&Rs. Hard to see because I have the front wheels turned, but its the perfect drop, no adjustments made. The rears are pretty close to perfect too, just need to adjust the rear passenger side lower just a tad. Just figured out that if you have smaller hands and skinny arms like me you can just stick you arms through the spokes of the wheels and adjust the rear dampening settings.
