Underbody rust protection is definitely a good idea with the salt they use on our roads, it only cost me $50 to get that done.
I got the 35% tint on my front side windows and love it. It will look fantastic with the color of your ride.

When you say rust protection, do they paint the underbody? What is done in the process? Will the underbody still look the same? I asked the dealer about this service and they told me it voids the warranty on the under body parts, so it has me worried.

Forgot to mention that the dealer compared it to something like painting your calipers. If something were to have a problem, they may come to the conclusion that it was the rust protection's fault. Plus the guy at the dealer said we already got a rust protection warranty anyways.
@Gee my only concern is getting pulled over. In Michigan u can get points on your record for tint.

If it protects the parts from corrosion I don't know why the dealer would say that. That act that protects consumers my understanding is dealers cannot not warranty unless what u did specifically is the cause of the issue. They also mentioned they don't drill any holes. what should I ask about the underbody?

No it is legal to have up to 35% on the front side windows, or are you talking about the front windshield.

Aaron the rust profing I get is also just a spray like Jd said, and it does not void the warranty, it actually helps the resale value.

I have 35% 3M tint on my front windows and got pulled over a few times. But that's mostly cause my windshield is tinted 50% lol. But cops are more anal here about those kind of things.

What should I specifically ask tomorrow to see if it could void? They spray but I'm sure it has some black or some color too. They say they touch up areas every year for the lifetime of the car for free. In that case I would assume they see what areas may need touch up and what not. Like I said they do the whole car underneath.

I'd watch out though cause there is alot of drain holes under the car for things like the rockers, and moonroof. Their pretty small, so it had me worried of possibly clogging it up.
What brand of rust-proofing are you getting?
I think the best two are Krown http://www.krown.com/#default and the other is Rust Check http://www.rustcheck.com/ I use the Rust Check, it is a brownish clear color.
I have used Rust Check on most of my vehicles and have kept some for as long as 15 years.

Heck I have not heard of them, I know I would stay away from heavy coatings like Ziebart. The Dealers around my area approve the protection I am using, I would make sure they okay yours.
I notice that shop is in Westland not that far from my wife's Uncles and cousins place in Plymouth, they also run a die and stamping business in Livonia. We were there a couple months ago, and will be returning in the Spring.
I agree, I would not do that particular one unless you had many good references and your Dealers blessing.I live in canton which borders Westland and Plymouth. Both are 5 min from me

that 2 mile stretch of abandoned road with so many pot holes leading to the cemetery in Hutto, TX didn't look welcoming at all but the FX handled it very well, and the ride was not at all suffering.
