What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Time to put the winter shoes on.

Changed out my 20" Enkeis and Yokos for my OEM 18s and Blizzaks.
Wow :eek.: I forgot how much lighter my 20"ers are than my OEM 18s, you could feel the difference.
I also got my winter tires and rims out to change on my 08 GMC Z71 Crew Cab.

How is the ride on the 18's compared to the 20's?

The reason I ask is cause my FX came with the 20" deluxe touring rims, and I always wondered what the ride felt like with the stock 18's instead. Is it alot softer with the 18's? The ride already feels cushy/soft on my 20's surprisingly, but I was just wondering how the 18's felt.

At Beshoff now getting oil changed and the speedo/odometer stuff done. 47,817 miles going in. I see now why people usually don't like dealerships though. I guess Sewell is really just that much better.

The 18s are a softer ride especially with winter rubber on. Of course that is good during the rough snow covered frost-heaved roads I encounter up here in the winter.

But, the FX definitely handles better with the wider lighter 20s and the Yokohomas over the stock OEM 18s and rubber.

Ahh I see, thanks for the info brotha:tup:

When I was purchasing, I never test drove one with 18's so I didn't know.

Ordered my first GT-Spec brace, the ever popular strut tower unit. I plan to get them all eventually so I though I'd start with the pretty one. :tongue (2):

^ WOW that looks good brotha! It matches goes well with the blue slate:tup:. I see someone else on your street has an FX too haha.

Today I just washed the car and took it for a spin around the back streets of my neighborhood. I found out my tire pressure has been on the "LOW" side:laugh:.

Made a shopping list to different locations just so I can drive and drive some more. What used to be a chore is now FUN:smile (2):
