About $150 total and you have to staple and hood the new boot into the QX frame. It took some time but well worth it.

Which wheels are those?View attachment 604103 View attachment 604102 Switched over to the Q60 shift knob and boot. Pretty easy to do and looks so much better.
Started at the base model QX with all the chrome accents and over the last few weeks went to the premium/sport look. Let me know what you think.

Hey Dan, i had to get gaskets from Z1 motorsports when I had Invidia and yes it takes a little fitting as mine rattled too. Mainly during start up and when I put it in reverse it drove me nuts.
Man Im glad, they look awesome on your ride!!!!!!Yeah i mainly hear it when i start it up and reverse too...kind of annoying but i'll play around with it. Hoping to get the new gaskets tomorrow!
BTW still obsessed with those rims i got from you Paul!

Nice mods.
I’ve been wanting to upgrade the shift knob to the Q60. Any particular year for the Q60 boot to ensure fitment? Thanks.
Here's a youtube video I found.
Yeah I found him looking for FX/QX videos.Who is this guy? I’ve watched a bunch of his vids recently and he mentions this sight quite often.
Nice. I need to get busy with my suspension, too. I hear all kinds of clinks, tinks, tangs, thuds, etc as I drive over rough spots (my driveway). Car seems very stable, soaks up bumps nicely, tracks perfectly straight, but there are some issues down there.Hi folk’s,
My FX'09 96500 miles, almost 11 years old, went to dealer to repair front suspension under extended Route 66 Warranty.
Finally, I did all these:
- Rod stabilizers both sides
 - Replace left shock absorber
 - Replace Rack and Pinion
 - Replace Cerpentine belt
 - Replace Arm Control both sides
 - Alignment all wheels
 - Replace gasket over head valve cover
 - Replace bushing stabilizers both sides

All these includes one year warranty.
Runs as new know, I guess I will delay looking for a new car for a while.
