Thanks, Allot of people think it's a new car and can't believe it when I tell them it's a 13 year old 2004 with almost 150k on it.

No more tape! Finally got around to repairing vinyl tears on seat surround trim. Also welded bar in seat frame. Squeak gone

So I snag a cheap rear seat back from eBay & take the two seat covers to an auto custom upholstery shop to get mine done for a total of $270. The good thing with this route was, I now have real leather seat surround instead of vinyl.

Yeah real leathers hard to crack. Vinyl cracks very quickly

Installed some new hood struts.

Replaced blown heater/AC blower and burnt wires...

Replaced 2 door lock actuators on the fx45

Dynamatted the doors in the QX70

BTW - the QX is a such a huge upgrade in design and workability- amazing how all the little foibles of the fx were addressed. Seems like somebody on that team actually owned an fx

60W plug and play bulb (not HID)
and it still lights up a big area where the headlights don't.

Also installed resonated test pipes with stock exhaust. I can feel it take off quicker and a bit more power at the top end but I know all that new air coming thru is getting bottlenecked.. plus it sounds a little bit like my cousin's V6 charger towards redline... sigh

Had a couple of extra t10 leds so I threw them on the DRLs. Noticed our projectors have these lines in them and with the LED bulb it looks a lot better

Finally put I a stubby antena to replace my original broken one.
Prob will get the color matching fin this summer and replace this one
