What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Installed the blendmount and invisicord in my fx today. Glad to have the radar off the windshield and the the cord running down to the cigarette lighter is gone too. 9834397f35c04dd8aa2443ae73318744.jpg

BlendMount and Invisicord is a great combo. I don't know how you can stand that dangling cord down the center of the car.

Nice clean look Jonathan.
Thanks Ruben! I'm happy that I don't have to take down the radar anymore to put up my sunshade. [emoji1]

I didn't see the point of doing the invisicord if I still had the suction cup mounts and would have to continuously uplug it and dismount it from the windshield every time I put up my sunshade up. So I just kinda of looked past the wire dangling down, but now that I have the mount my eye line is clear again! [emoji2]

Finally got my FX tuned. My car hated the HFCs and when I put the stock cats back on, seems like it tricked the ECU still thinking it had HFCs on. Baseline was pretty lean, safe enough to make the pass. Car was knocking ALOT and pulling timing mostly because of the horrible 91 octane here in CA. Seb at SpecialtyZ tuned my car and said he had recently serviced his DynoJet and they fiddled with the correction factor so that explained why my dyno graph read pretty low. Anyways, I am super happy with my 22 WHP gain. The car picked up a lot of low end and I felt it instantly. Tightened up the shifts by adjusting line pressure and it shifts almost like a dual clutch:) ... Seb installed a "93 oct" map which tightens up timing, and I can use 91 with some Boostane or some octane booster and it should pick up about 10whp.

Here is my dyno sheet:

How did you do that?

Really easy just buy the latest new apple tv on ebay (much cheaper than apple), car power inverter, and HDMI to RCA:
Apple TV (4th generation) 64GB - picked up sealed new on ebay for $125 (you can buy 32gb version if you want cheaper)
Amazon.com: SNAN 200W Car Power Inverter DC 12V to AC 110V with 3 AC Outlets and Dual USB Charging Ports: Automotive or similar
Amazon.com: Musou 1080P HDMI to RCA Composite AV Video Audio Converter: Home Audio & Theater or similar

About ~$150 and you got apple tv in your car, so I stream movies, etc all while driving. Everyone with iphones, ipads can connect to it easily, stream music, etc. Been using it for months a love it.

@illestFX35 nice bro.. You ever in the Van Nuys area? I think I've seen your car around

Was looking for parts and decided to try these out since they were only $20.. Not bad but wish they were brighter

I did my headlights exactly like you did, Rip. I made vinyl overlays for the turn signals and cut out a rectangle for visibility. It turned out great (and thanks for the idea)!
