What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Hmm. That's not what how it was explained to me when I call the ARK folks up. They said that it's not the same. Where did you hear this?

My memory don't go that far back lol but there was a member on here with the first v2 system who helped with the prototype and had the first one installed but he sold his 5.0 and I forgot his user name

Ark did not want to Make a separate exhaust for the 5.0 as their is no market that's why they said it would be easier to make one for both.

Rip, I'm the old fart here, I am the one that is supposed to forget things. The dude that got the Ark exhaust on his FX50 was BootyHunter57 , search his name you will find it. He later sold the FX.

Wow Wayne good memory lol. That is him, I don't know how I forgot that username.
 
Two emails that I received from the ARK folks about a month ago:

"Yes, we don have them instock, It is new product that we’re going to list online soon. But if you like to purchase itemplease contact us at 909-947-1275 ask Michael"

AND

"Yes, we do have the GRiP Exhaust now available for the FX50 models. Right now we only have them with the polish tips.
The MSRP price is $1999.00 and I can offer you a price for $1599.20 + $159.00 S/H within the lower 48 states.

It appears as though it's a distinctly different product that's being offered for the 5.0.
 
I spoke with Lerry earlier. He said that they won't fit out of the box, but the amount of work required to make them work is negligible. All that needs to be done is fab up a piece of flange + <2" pipe + flange. Local shop said that they could fab the part for $30 so W00T!!!
