What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Finally installed the used stillen intake that I bought approximately three weeks ago. Just need to now get the z tube to complete it. What are the benefits of the z tube actually? Also cleaned the filter whit the k&n air filter cleaner, I thought after cleaning it and spraying it the filter would almost look new. I might just end up buying a replacement filter.
if still dirty, clean it again. ztube gives the car better airflow and noise.
Z tube cleans up the engine bay slightly because it removes the resonator. It sounds better for the same reason. There won't be any performance benefits, some people think it adds power, but they're equating louder with faster. I have a chrome UTR one from back in the day and I love the way it looks and sounds. Don't buy the Z Tube if you're looking for actual power, there are better things to spend money on.
The Z-tube is less restrictive dont know of any noticeable gains but it cleans up the engine bay looks good and sounds great, add a K&N drop in air filter and you cant lose!
^This. The Helmholtz resonator is a sound reducing luxury afforded to the more roomy FX engine bay.
Do it. I ride low and I regularly drive the crappy roads of Manhattan and the pockmarked freeways in Queens. No issues.
