What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Thats awesome man! Congratulations! And theres nothing wing with checking iS while shes in labor. Theres not really much to do until its time to push, if I remember directly :top:

Try to remember to check on the mother in between reading new posts.

Congrats on the new arrival! Woohoo!

Just replaced my hatch shocks and WOW! I don't know if these replacements I got are stronger or if mine were blown when I bought my FX but the difference is amazing! Its like a power assist hatch all of the sudden. I only have to lift it about 10% of the way and the shocks take over, opening it fully and very quickly.

replaced 16 bulbs in the interior with vleds...the lighter ones not the very bright ones (1 led instead of 4) because I didn't want it ass bright.

only thing missing to replace is the licence plate lights, coin holder, and glovebox....just didn't get around to it even though I have the bulbs...I'll get it replaced by the end of this week.

You guys were right...I love them and soooooo easy to replace.

It will do the trick, but one word of warning: the OEM tokico shocks have an internal retainer clip on the ball joint ends that cannot be removed. You have two options; Buy new hardware (the brackets that attach to the car and the hatch), or carefully cut the ends off the OEM shocks to reuse the old hardware. I chose the latter and the whole project took about 15min and 3 Dremel cutting wheels.
