What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Do you know what brand rotors they use? I see they have a "premium" and an "e line"

It's been a while since I read about them but iirc they all come from Centric as blanks, then R1 slots (or drills) and coats them. The difference between the eline and premium is the coating and iron grade.

cleaning the seats to leatherique tomorrow. anyone know how long i can leave that stuff on for before cleanign it off?

How is the drive now? Got the lifetime deal on the alignment? Man love the Imvidia tone when you drove off yesterday.

Drive wasn't bad! yea got the lifetime deal on the alignment. I have more red on my alignment results then i wanted. They said that it is subtle and should be a non issue just to make sure to rotate my tires regularly? I will post a picture of the results and let me know what you think. Yea its a nice sounding exhaust!

Wow, I agree with Turt, it doesn't look like any improvement on the alignment. What
was the reason that they can't adjust the toe and camber. H&R Springs shouldn't have any problems wit alignment at all. I also see that the date on the alignment order dated 01/15/02. Is this the result from the alignment you did today?

Purchased some Bridgestone Dueler H/L 265/45R/21 Tires. Now just have to wait to get them in order to get them installed.

Got it done at Firestone. I had got it done today, and i think it was a matter of laziness as far as the date and time. I haven't measured how low i am but they attached a piece of paper to the results that stated, "the manufacturer does not specify front CAMBER and CASTER adjustments."

Another thing, my customer Invoice that was printed out, had todays date on it? I don't know if that has the date via the program or if its on the same time as the printer or what?

Well after playing with this all weekend

I had to return her, while waiting for my fx I was a little sad that I wasn't going to be able to smoke the rear tires anymore :-( and i was going to miss tgw speed of that g37. All that went away when from behind a black 09 fx35 I saw them pulling up in my baby with my hid's on and I must say I'm jealous of all the people that are in front of me on the road because they get to look at this HOT front end the whole time until I pass them up ;-).
Here are a couple of pics of my new dash

^ nice! i got mine done the other week. the dash isn't as smooth though! At least mine wasn't, had kind of a rough feel to it. couple interior cleanings will change that

I agree that the alignment results are very poor, you will kill your tires with that , if you do a lot of driving.
That's why I had my springs removed on my 2nd Gen, the alignment could not be corrected.

Hey i got rear a spare set of SPC rear toe bolts for my g35. I saw pictures somewhere posted and they look the same.

I only know of my G's AWD suspension but shouldn't be too far off. Front camber cant be adjusted, unless you get A-arms. Front toe is completely adjustable, its OK but much rather have it at either 0 or .05 even on both sides. Same idea with the rear, you want as close to 0 as you can get with toe. Rear toe has some stock adjustments but making the slot wider and SPC toe bolt kit increases the range. He could of brought the left rear back if it was at .01 to start with. Guy is just lazy. With camber i dont know if there is much adjustment with stock, i have SPC rear camber arms as well. My alignment when lowered is -1.5 rear camber. Toe is set ot .05 all around. My front camber cant be adjusted because i dont have A-arms. But my right side is the only one off by .3

Which shop did you have it done at? The idiots on the one near foster in chicago, screwed mines up bad. they didn't even realize i had stag tires, and scrapped and drove it into pot holes. The one in skokie is a decent.
