Welcome new members.

Hello...just bought a used FX45 this weekend...found the site searching for info for solutions to the "thumping sound" up front...aka...hub assemblys going bad. Thanks for the answers even before I was a member of the forum!!

Hi everyone,

I’m new to the FX scene, actually not new to the Infiniti scene since I have a G35 already.
My name is Lance I’m from NY/MD just brought a 2009 FX35 AWD (didn’t know how limited you are when it comes down to wheel selections being AWD). Wify wanted an SUV but the one I had in mind was the new 2011 Porsche Cayenne S but for some reason she couldn’t make up her mind. So we ended up getting this one. Long story short I will get the Porsche later (maybe 911 instead of the SUV) since she has her SUV now.

new Entry

Hello to everybody. I've and FX35 imported in Italy... i like this car, and i'm traveling a lot... This forum is the better that i've found about infinity and I hope to contribute with my little experience.

Ciao a Tutti!!!:alien:

Sup Fellas. Just joined the site. I just wanted to drop a quick post to reach my 10 min. posts.

I've had my FX35 for about 5 years now. I bought it new with the intention of modding it as I went along, but never really had the chance. As it stands, my fx is a 100% stock Berrylium Sport. I love my fx the same today as I did 5 years ago. I was really looking forward to upgrading to the 2nd gen, but didn't like the new design so I decided to keep my 05 until the wheels fall off or until 3rd gen (whichever comes first). I test drive everything new every year (Crossovers), and every year I walk away disappointed in that nothing, as of yet is better (better meaning, sportier) than our FX's. Well, thats not entirely true, I test drove an X6 and loved it, but the sticker was way beyond my price point. Plus, I love not having a car payment.

I am really looking forward to getting to know you guys. Although I don't have any mods under my belt, I am really interested in some of the black mods — Black headlamp housing, black grill, black stock 20's and maybe even doing a HID fog conversion.

Hey everyone. New guy here from the Atlanta area. I have an 03 FX35 AWD, Navi, Diamond Graphite w/ Brick interior, and have done my share of mods.... Honestly I would refer to this site for tips and advice, and Im finally registered. Been an FX'er since it came out and love the car. I will try and share what I can about the car, when it is relevant. I havent gone overboard, but my simple mods have been tinting, Stillen Tower Strut Bar, Eibach's, Crawford Plenum, Weapon R CAI, Carbon fiber 3M wrap on center console ( Stainless was chipped up), Stillen Underdrive Pulley. Toying with the idea tailight painting. I go in spurts and seem to be into this again. Anyway....

Hi, new her. Not yet owner. I need tons of info before I spent so much money for my one. So I trying to find common issue with the FX - up to now it seems it is better then my current BMW E46. I like the big car, and realy don't need to go off-road - therefor I think the FX is only the option. Am I right?

whats up IS, new guy here from Queens, NY. I have an '05 fx35 a lil over two years now. I'm lookin to do a few mods when it warms up. This is a really great site, thanks for all the info and the DIYs!

for a strictly on road crossover, FX ftw. you might find the suspension a bit stiff but hell, throw in some braces underneath and have fun while cornering. that's what FX has been built to do. Welcome.

Hello Everyone! Proud owner of a new 2010 FX50S as of Monday. Black on Graphite. Had decided to buy a FX35, but they had this bad boy on the lot, and I fell in live with the exhaust note and crazy power. Anyone else in the Seattle/Puget Sound Area?
